      Meijer Credit Union manager thinks she is above the law and continually practices illegal holds, freezes and transaction restructuring in order to gain additional profits through predatory, excessive and illegal overdraft fees or moving if our funds through her bank location as she seems necessary. She also freezes debit cards from use and funds so that they cannot be transferred even between Meijer Credit Union bank accounts to clear debts on credit accounts. This is illegal without prior notice, communication from the bank stating their reasons or a court-ordered jurisdiction, which does not apply to my account. This banking manager has on many occasions moved money between our accounts without our consent or any notice. We will not be depositing any further funds to this bank and will be seeking legal action. There is one single account open with a negative balance of $120, which is all "delinquent loan fees" on a former Meijer Team Member Loan account. I am no longer a Meijer Team Member and will not give this bank manager any funds of my personal money to control as she sees fit. They can use the illegal profits from over 27 illegal *** fees they have charged us through transaction restructuring and the $40 they currently froze in our accounts to settle this "account balance" and close our business with them. Our lawyer will be in contact to handle any further communications. So thankful we will never do any business with them again! AVOID ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS BANK AT ALL COSTS!!

      This business doesnt care about their customers. Even after you have opted out of the overdraft protection, they still charge you an overdraft fee and they DON'T pay your bill. My main bank I deal with doesnt do that. I have contacted them several times about this issue and they always ignore my concern on this issue. I feel this is wrong for the business to offer this service but they never honor it. They told me that this service does not cover ACH payments. It only covers the physical card usage. My main bank stops ALL charges coming in, not just one certain type of charge. This bank has no morals or business ethics that they follow. This is a horrible credit union to bank with and I would not recommend this credit union to ANYONE!

      I have a bank account that. Money have been coming out and they have. The have charged me a nsf fee for $35.00 three times. *** told them that this is not my transaction at all and I would like to dispute it. They refused to dispute this transaction for me. I have not paid something for $2.10 on this account. I have several bank accounts which I have been charged for with my PayPal account and this is not one of them

      This company has violated my rights. I have disputed this unlawful account with them several times. I am attaching proof that this account on my credit report needs to be removed ASAP. I did some research and they violated these laws: 15 U.S.C **** section 602 A. States I have the right to privacy.15 U.S.C **** Section 604 A Section 2: It also states a consumer reporting agency cannot furnish a account without my written instructions 15 U.S.C. ****s-2 (A)(1) A person shall not furnish any information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if the person knows or has reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate.I am very frustrated. This is my last attempt reaching out to you guys or I will have to take this matter to court and *** for all of these violations. Please remove these accounts ASAP. I have attached proof of my ************ breach information proofing my identity has been compromised.

      I am questioning the practices of this business. They have charged me a $35 insufficent fee on 12/01 when my balance was $11.34. I also closed the day with 3 insufficient charges and there was only 2 payments that posted. The bank cannot tell why the additional $35 was charged except you didnt have enough money. Which is fine but this statement does not reflect why the $35 was charged.

      Meijer Credit Union was previously my primary bank but I left due to predatory loan practices such as high interest rate loans (+/- 15-19% rates) and inability to contact members of the branch. I did make the mistake of keeping a credit card open with a $5000 limit which has become the reason for this complaint. Meijer Credit Union utilizes a third party service for their online loan and card payments, I have used this despite the $15.00 fee (another predatory practice) in lieu of driving over 50 minutes to the nearest branch. I pay the monthly payment based off the amount listed in this portal and have done so for the last 2-3 years. In August, I was notified of a late payment, despite paying the amount listed in the online portal and assessed a fee. I again paid in September on the 10th (which representatives argue was not posted until the 13th due to it having been a weekend) and was assessed another fee. In October, after having paid over $450 in the last 3 months (not including the $45 in fees to use the online portal) I am still listed as somehow being behind by $48 for my September bill. A total which would easily be remedied by returning the $50 in late fees that I have.The key issues here:- Meijer CU has no oversight of the post dates on their payment portal, even given a date of **** I am told I didn't pay until **** - Finance charges of nearly $60/month are assessed to this account with lack of explanation, perpetuating the debt on the card - Simple returns of the late fee assessments would have stopped the trend of "late payments" and set the account right along with eliminated negative reporting on my credit

      I have had the account for several years. I changed jobs and there was an issue with my direct deposit so I was issued a paper check. I called and was told that I could cash it at a branch location in my town as there are none of their credit unions in town. I was told I could not cash it and must deposit it for a two day hold. Then they put another hold. I have had to call them. My payroll was issued 10 days ago and they are putting another hold to make it 13 days on a payroll check. This means that I have not received the payroll and Ive gotten late fee on one bill already. I need my check released.
