  This company needs to be closed . The owner is not a compassionate person to be in the business of handling anyones loved ones . The owner did not honor the services paid for / the delays in finalizing the transaction was unacceptable and unprofessional. I will be contacted the office of inspector general to have this company investigated with the lack of accountability held to the owners,

  I entrusted Brown's Funeral Home, LTD with the final wishes of my mother, ********, in which we were to have a private one-hour family viewing with cremation to follow. Unfortunately, the funeral home transported my mother to Holland, MI for cremation before a legal contract was signed. There were several family members who needed time to travel to Michigan in order to say, "see you later" to their dear loved one. On the morning of Friday, November 10, 2023, which was the set scheduled date of the viewing at approximately 10am I placed a call to Brown's Funeral Home, LTD to inform them that my daughter and I would be there early in order to get my mother dressed and to make sure that she was presentable before family and friends arrived. To my dismay, upon speaking with their staff, I was then informed that my mother, **********, had already been cremated several days prior.
