  I had some initial issues with some prior work with Avalon regarding chimney flashing. They stepped up and agreed to replace all the flashing. Unfortunately my chimney was in an unsafe condition and they were unable to do the work. They offered to take the chimney down instead and repair the roof at no charge! The guys that came out were fantastic and did a great job. I am very happy with the results. I am also VERY appreciative to Avalon for going above and beyond to help me with this situation.

  The roof that Avalon did five years ago was terrible. I live up north and they took two months to get up here and barely got the roof on before the snow and bad weather came. Within a month of winter, I had a terrible leak because they didn't seal up my rear sky lights well. Ceiling had damage and I had a ******* insurance claim. They finally showed up in late January to "fix" the leak. No compensation, always rude except for the salesman. In the meantime i've had to hire out and pay others to fix what they left behind. . I've just had to replace the "25" year roof after 5 years. Shingles were poor quality and falling off, so no problem to get them off except they roofed over the old roof. I got zero help from the warranty company and the company told me if I touched the roof, their workmanship guarantee was no longer valid. In the meantime, I can't let the leaks damage my ceiling so I had to hire the work out because of the run around I got and not standing behind their work. I'm replacing the roof as I write this and paying the price again to make up for the numerous mistakes of which the new roofer who is finally doing the job that should've been done by Avalon. He said it was a "terrible" roofing job. They found a bad of nails that was shingled over. No help from the company they didn't stand behind their work but used the excuse of a worthless warranty. A 25 year roof made it 5 years. Never again!

  I have used them twice for NEW WINDOW REPLACEMENT in the last 4 months. The latest was yesterday. Everything from start to finish I am extremely happy with. From sales to service. I did have a misunderstanding on my part, but *** (one of the owners) called me personally to make my expectations as pleasant as possible. This morning, I met personally with *** at the office to apologize as a man for my actions and to further discuss future work I will be having them do. I want to redo my 3 stall garage roof. And I meet with someone later today. Highly recommend Avalon for anything to do with windows (personal experience). And I have faith when it comes to my roof.

  Avalon had come back out and did a good job fixing our roof they fix everything they said they would I couldnt be more please they said they just have to Finish the Chimney and they even be back in a timely manner to fix it I would give them 4 stars now

  Did a great job on my whole house roof (not garage). I questioned some things and the owner came out with 2 workers to answer my questions and added some run off tabs on inside corners, to divert water away from facial. I am very pleased with what they did. Price was good and competitive.

  I used Avalon because I have used Polaris windows in other houses and they are a installer of these windows. I have had issues with one window that continues to crack for no apparent reason. So when I worked with their sales person, I was very clear that I wanted to replace my 6x6 picture window with a smaller set of windows that included sliders on each side for air flow and to eliminate the cracking (unsure of why this one cracks as the 5x6 above it does not and every contractor to inspect it says it shouldn't). I also made it very clear I wanted something with a warranty due to the cracking. Well, I have learned that Avalon is not a company of their word. The sales person told me we were getting sliders and we would have a warranty. I should have read the fine print on every detail from this company. The windows ordered were not what was quoted - also cost more. I ended up with crank out windows instead of sliders, which I didn't realize until they were installed. And now the window has cracked again and they are stating I don't have a warranty. They are right, I signed without reading, so my bad. Letting others know - DON'T TRUST THEM. Now they want $2200 (only part of the window) to replace the glass on a full window set that cost only $1900 less than 2 years ago (window included a center picture and 2 side cranks). The ****** learned is don't trust Avalon. Their work seemed good, but they are deceitful and I was lied to in my own home. No integrity and that is something you can count on from them. Before putting this post up, we have tried to connect with a manager. Instead of addressing this, they have ignored our contact for over 2 weeks. This is what you can expect if anything goes wrong.

  My 88 yr old mother needed new gutters for her home. I met with **** from Avalon Building Concepts at her house and told him she wanted new gutters without screens. He gave us a quote and told us that she would get four free gutter cleanings a year. She called the company today to get someone to clean out her gutters. They told her she had to have screens installed in order to get the four free cleanings! If you have screens, why do you need to have them cleaned? I thought the screens kept everything out. Another case of a salesman telling you what you want to hear just to sell you something. A true disappointment and will NEVER recommend this scam business.

  They did a terrible job on our roof they nail down the gutters in the front of our house theres no flashing under on part of the roof I want to put in new gutters and this is how I Discovered all the problems with the roof he said he can Lyft up the roof and see straight through and we will be getting rain and animals coming thru the roof soon 10/12/2022
