Stay away from Ritz-craft! Purchased home and Build on site in Dec 2018. Less than 6 months and the trusses were sinking and cracking the drywall. Dips at every truss across ceiling was up to 2 inches in drop from one truss to the next. They did inspection and nothing could be found for why this issue was happening. The solution (which did not get to the root cause of the ceiling dropping throughout the house) was to have a drywaller come in and fill in the gaps. I said that was a patch not a solution to why the trusses were sinking. SO, they patched the ceiling with mud painted and walked away. Less than one year later...same issue. So we at end of 2019. Now i cant get them to come because of covid,. 2 years later and many many calls they still cant come. Then a letter, 2021 asking them to look at issue. Excuses excuses and this person had tragedy and no one followed up. Another letter and again well new guy took over and walk me through all this. End result you are out of warranty even though you let us know the ceiling was buckling again within the warranty time. My paperwork shows the extension of warranty for the ceiling for another year due to the ceiling. No one followed up after covid and no one ever calls back. Still have broken windows that they owe me fixes on. windows that wont open and stay open. Been waiting 2+ years to have my issues fixed and now neither the seller (Northwoods Cass City Mi) or Ritz-Craft will help us or answer calls. I'll be sure to not recommend this company to anyone!!!!!! Contacting a lawyer is my next step!!!!
