    To Whom It May Concern: I am seeking a resolution with ****** ***** ** **** ******** in regards to the payment for sub-par services and delayed materials. On July 30, 2021, a representative of ****** ***** **** ******** came to my home on **** ******** *** *** ********* ** ***** to quote new vinyl windows. As a real estate agent, I understand the value of curb appeal and decided to install new windows in order to fetch a better price for the home upon sale of the home. The representative explained that the industry was suffering from supply issues and it would take 16 weeks to have the windows installed. While dismayed with this timeline, I signed a contract that day in the amount of $3050.00 for three new windows. About 16 weeks later, the company contacted us to schedule the installation. At this time, it was discovered that the company mismeasured the project and new windows would need to be ordered, delaying the project completion further. At this time, the windows have not been installed, as promised due to the mistake with the measurements, and we wish to cancel the contract. If the contract cannot be canceled, we may be willing to accept a partial refund. We contacted the company about our concerns via phone, but were unable to come to a resolution. They continued to blame supply chain issues. We understand the issues with the supply chain and begrudgingly accepted that it would take 16 weeks for new windows, however, we are now at 26 weeks and counting due to the inaccurate work of the company. We believe the company should have some accountability for their mistake and make it right. I was very happy with sales representative who came to my home on July 30, 2021. He was professional, knowledgeable, and empathetic. I was so glad to have found great windows for a great price, and I was eager to share my experience with my community, including real estate clients. I hope we can come to a resolution and I can share my positive experiences. Thank you.

    It was a terrible experience. The salesman was great, but the workers and owner were unprofessional. They said they would get back to me, but then I didn't hear anything. They ruined my marble windowsill and replaced it with a couple of very thin pieces of wood overlapping each other. Instead of sanding them down, they left jagged edges on the end of the wood pieces. They also left two holes in the wall where they put some caulk but didn't fill them in. They left holes in two of the screens that I had to call and have them replaced. I'm still waiting on that. They broke out vast chunks of plaster trying to get the picture window out, then told me with a cocky attitude that it wasn't their responsibility. After complaining, I got them to cover it with the fragile wood around the casing. I am shocked at the poor work ethic, and how they lacked care about writing the wrong they made. It was we got our money, so deal with it yourself. The tile around my bathroom window was ruined. It took them a couple of months to even come out and put the thin pieces of wood around the casing. I am so disappointed with their work ethic, and lack of professionalism. I am having trouble with another window not connecting when I try to lock it. They never told me how to take off the screens to wash the windows. It has been a nightmare working with them. As I stated, Jack, the salesman, is the only one who has shown any empathy concerning the situation. The others were like, well, suck it up, and we'll do the minimum and even less than that. I would stay away from them. I hired them because I read positive reviews , but it was quite a different story.

    We always appreciate the feedback of our customers. As America’s #1 Exterior Remodeler who also proudly installs America’s #1 replacement window, we always strive for 5-Star service. Thank you for complimenting our Design Consultant, Jack. He’s been with us a long time and takes great pride in providing unmatched quality of service and a professional, friendly experience. In this particular case, our Design Consultant noted his concerns on the contract in advance of signing, writing, “Customer understands tile may be damaged during removal of windows. Window World is not responsible for repair. Window World will do everything they can to avoid damage.” Our installers have years of experience, decades in some cases, and take great care while removing old windows to avoid as much disruption to existing drywall, windowsills, trim work, etc. At no extra charge, we did send a crew out to re-trim the window with unfinished wood so as to allow the homeowner to paint/stain as they best saw fit for their home’s character. Screens do sometimes come in damaged (loose, a cut, etc.) and are always replaced at no charge. Our head installer brought screens with him to the service appointment and as far as we are aware they worked. If this is not the case, please feel free to reach out so we can resolve that matter. Should any further instruction be needed on removing screens or how to lock the windows properly, please contact us and we will gladly assist with that.
