My experience started with Farm bureau insurance a few years ago their home services are very poor the high winds started taking my shingles off my roof I tried paying someone to nail them back on the more I paid the more came off I can’t afford to pay that kind of money anymore so I called the farm bureau agent they sent someone to check the roof and they said it was not installed correctly you see at the time the roof was only 3 years old based on the fact it was a new home built by J.V. Valadez Services LLC ed to resolve the problem with no response no actions. I got several estimates one roofer said I had hail damage still Farm Bureau Insurance gave no help but still my insurance premiums tripled. Very disappointed with their home insurance company.Farm Bureau Insurance Response

I have been a customer of Farm Bureau Ins. for 10 years. This year, on 4/15/2024, when the renewal notice for my coverage appeared, I notified them on 4/30 that the medical coverage was incorrect. As directed, I texted my Medicare coverage documents. However, no correction appeared either online or by mail, and on 5/30/2024, they notified me that my payment was past due. I called, and they said they had found my documents and would be processing them, and that I would receive a new invoice. On 6/1, I had still not received an amount to pay by phone, online, or by text/email. On 6/2, they emailed me informing me that my policy would be cancelled if I didn't pay the "amount shown below" immediately. I promptly went to the website to pay by credit card, but the amount shown was incorrect. I then sent a check by mail immediately. On 6/3, I received an email stating that my policy had been cancelled. NOBODY SHOULD TO BUSINESS WITH THIS INCOMPETENT COMPANY.Review from Daniel N

We had a major fire loss in mid-June 2019. When the adjuster came to view damages, he requested that I sign some forms. I called our family attorney (in the presence of the adjuster), who sternly told me not to sign anything. Farm Bureau recommended that I use a fire restoration company they contracted with to restore our soft items (clothes, shoes, purses linens...), to which we agreed. The company came and collected, inventoried, and took many of our belongings to be refurbished. We decided not to use their contractors for repairs. When we chose to select our own contractors for repairs, Farm Bureau, for some reason, decided that the fire restoration service was no longer an option for us, and required that we retrieve our own items from the restoration company. Except for a small payment of less than 4K made in July 2019, no further funds were released by Farm Bureau until March of 2020, days before everything shut down due to Covid-19. Repairs on our home were at a standstill, due to many contractors lacking the labor force needed, because of Covid infections and/or restrictions amongst employees. I was able to get contractors to begin work in spring of 2022. Since so much work had to be done, I chose to have an addition added while the required repairs were being done, so that I would not have to be displaced again, once the fire damage was repaired. I completely understand that Farm Bureau is not responsible for cost related to the addition. What I am concerned about is that cost of repairs that Farm Bureau is responsible for, have risen exponentially in cost, and the adjuster continues to request duplicate information, and has stopped returning calls. I have owned my home free and clear and have since spring of 2020. Farm Bureau is still withholding funds that should have paid years ago. Since there are no liens, and I am the sole person with interest in my home. I have a right to spend the funds as I see fit.Farm Bureau Insurance Response

Farm Bureau has been great to work with. They are responsive and work with reputable repair shops. They cover OEM car parts which Ive learned other companies do not. I was in an accident caused by a driver insured through USAA and dealing with them has been a nightmare. Farm Bureau has advocated for us during the difficult battle. I highly recommend them!Farm Bureau Insurance Response

Someone hit 5 cars at the hospital in which minute mine was one of them. I had to file a claim on my insurance in order to get damages fixed. My agent stated that they would have to go after the guy’s insurance company which it is Progressive Insurance Co. I go to get a rental car until mine is fixed and Farm Bureau Is only paying $30 a day for a rental car and that only gets me a low compact vehicle and I drive a Honda Odyssey 2021. My agency states it’s the type of coverage I have. I stated to him that I never knew that it depends on the type of insurance coverage and no one told me this when I got the coverage. This insurance company is a piece of work and don’t care about people circumstances. I drive a van because I have 5 grandkids. I’m very upset because no one seems to care about me being put into a small compact car and this insurance company is only paying $30 a day. Why should it matter how much the rental is when they are going after the guy’s insurance company (progressive insurance company) anyway? This makes no sense and this is so unfortunate and no one is losing anything but me because I have to find other means of transportation for my grandkids until my car is fixed.Review from Steve G

Absolutely AWFUL service from ******** Farm Bureau in Grayson County!. Awful costumer service. Awful support help from the office. The adjuster is blatantly unprofessional, but guessing ******** Farm Bureau wants him to be so nasty that insurance policy holders stop trying to get a claim paid. No one at ******** Farm Bureau seems to care about over 40 years of loyalty.Review from Lea F

Their auto policy on married spouses stinks. People really need to check into it before adding their spouse.
