My mother had AAA life insurance and paid them faithfully. Now that my mother has passed *** is taking their time paying out the death payment. The death certificate was received on Monday 27 January however they didnt scan it until the 29th and telling me I have to wait 10 days for them to process the death and another 10 days to wait for the payment to be MAILED out. Meanwhile I have paid for everything, now AAA is putting me in a financial hardship. Trust me my mother would have NEVER gotten AAA life insurance if she knew it would be this difficult receiving the death payment. Its NOT like it is a lot of money, in fact the insurance claim isnt even enough to cover the whole funeral *********** why is AAA taking their time paying long route for grieving families to complete laying their loved ones to rest. To avoid the anguish, find a company that values their customersAAA Life Insurance Company

Would not even consider doing business with them based on their marketing strategy alone. ******* you **** mail a minimum of 3 times a month. Reading the complaints here and various places online, it echo's their company is as poor as their marketing strategy. I have requested NUMEROUS times, and over 60 days ago, to be removed from their mailing list...yet the bombardment continues. Next I will be cancelling AAA coverage all together .Note: They have been annoying people for years with these mailings. Over 20 years ago I worked in the marketing department at *** and we were bombarded with request, returned mailings, etc asking to be removed from the mailing list and it truly angers many people.A company that has to push so hard to try to get business makes me very suspect of the company. I do not wish to receive mailings!AAA Life Insurance Company

I filled out an application for what I thought to be life insurance. It turned out to be Accident Insurance, so I cancelled the policy on the same day.AAA will not stop taking money from my husbands account. They said I can cancel by putting it in writing which I did and they still did not cancel.I called and talked to 3 different people and still no resolution.I spoke to someone on the phone (I think her name is ***************************) who wanted to speak to my husband directly but he has difficulty speaking because he has a disability affecting his speech and she accused me of pretending to be him.AAA also sent a form for his signature and he signed it and dated it and they still sent a hard copy in the mail. I signed it and sent it back. I signed the application for the insurance policy on his behalf after speaking to him as I do have power of attorney because he has difficulty speaking for himself.I get the impression that they want to continue taking money from his account because after following what I was asked to do, they still have not resolved this very simple request to cancel this policy which I decided was not what I neededAAA Life Insurance Company

I have two annuities with AAA. In April 2024 I applied for another but have received a horrendous run-around so I asked to cancel it and return my funds. Something appears to be amiss whether at the Venice ********* or at corporate, I do not know but the agent I was with was let go and NO ONE from AAA contacted me about the status of my funds. Corporate exec promised me they have "located" my funds and would issue a refund. Two more weeks have gone by and still no refund. The latest says he has completed his review and is waiting for "accounting" to sign off. Then they will send the refund to the financial institution, NOT ME, which sent the funds by the end of another week. Odf course, That will result in further delay. Delay, delay. Never concrete action to return what is mine, Horrible company. I was able to stop most of the money from being accessed by AAA but they have held on to $10,500. and despite numerous contacts I initiated I still do not have my money.AAA Life Insurance Company

This company is NOT GOOD at resolving claims. My mother passed on January 9, 2024 and as of today June 4, 2024 they have not paid the claim. I submitted the claim at the beginning of April after calling several times inquiring about my mother's policy. Finally, I got a rep who explained to me what I needed to do but she has a very bad attitude. However, I was able to submit the claim form and death certificate to them. BUT>>>>>>>> I have been calling since April about the status, spoke with several different reps each time, who told me different things about my claim. Week after week since April-its in review, we will have it taken care of as soon as possible, it's been pushed through to the head manager.......you will hear back from us sometime this week.........lie after lie after lie.........its ridiculous!!!!!!! I had to go and retain an ATTORNEY!!! Now I'm being told we will escalate your claim right away...I'm awaiting to see how long this will take. I think its absolutely sad how this insurance company drags you through more agony after loosing your love one. You want to wrap things up and have closure but how can you when each week you have to call them and constantly be reminded of that moment you lost your love one. And when a rep answers they will say someone will give you a call back shortly......... THEY DO NOT RETURN CALLS OR PROVIDE FEEDBACK!! And it appears the company prolongs paying out claims to find reasons NOT TO PAY!!! My attorney has stepped in and willing to take this to the next level. I AM and was told I AM THE SOLE BENEFICIARY BY TRIPLE AAA REPS. ** what is the delay? Why are they dragging on settling the claim if they have all the information needed. It appears to me that something is not right on their end and they are buying time at the expense of my grief to figure it out! This company has to improve on customer service in all departments!!!!! Communication!!!!! I am not happy with the performance of this insurance company at all.AAA Life Insurance Company

Fortunately, I decided not to do business with this company after one phone call. They send endless pieces of mail, to one of my adult kids, about a life insurance offer. I've looked it over a few times and decided to give them a call to discuss the offer. After dialing the number listed on the paperwork, a recording comes on, asking if I'm over 50. I said yes. The recording goes on and on about how I'm eligible for some emergency medical alert device. If interested, I needed to press #1. I was not interested, so I held. It asked me again to press #1 if interested. Again. Not interested, so I held. I mean, we all age, but I'm still at the point where I can run a 5k and hike for miles. I was not interested. Someone finally gets on the line asking, "Can you hear me"? I said, "I can hear you." Then she goes on about that stupid medical alert device. Why??? If interested, I'd have pressed the dang number #1 already. I was calling to see about life insurance. I said several times, "I'm not interested," but she just kept right on talking. I do not think SHE could hear ME. I can't help but wonder if she was trying to prompt me to say yes, to set me up with some service I did not want. I hung up while she was still talking. She's probably still talking now, as I type this post. I knew right then that this was not a company for me or anyone in my family. I think I dodged a bullet. It's unfortunate I have to provide my contact information to post this message, and that information will be sent to the company. if the company reads this message, I DO NOT WISH TO BE CONTACTED.AAA Life Insurance Company

Have gotten over 38 mailings from AAA/AAA Life since beginning of 2024. ALL come in large envelopes with address labels in it. In January contacted AAA and was told we would be taken off mailings list. In February we contacted again and cancelled our AAA membership because of the mailings. ***** contacted again and was told we would NEVER get another mailing. ***** contacted again and was told the system was down. Today May 2 I contacted again via the phone number on the mailing. Was told that we would be taken off the mailing list but it would take 60 days, when I commented about the numerous times I have already called, I was told that they are not a part of AAA but a third party, so even if AAA was telling me I was removed, I wasn't with them because they are not AAA but a third party. But I am now removed and again it will take 60 days, to which I responded about all the mailings and she told me they all weren't from them but from AAA motor. I asked how she would know that if they are not AAA. Phone line went dead. So I went to look at the mailings we currently have from today and last week and all 5 of them say AAA LifeAAA Life Insurance Company

I would avoid ******** like the plague. My uncle left me a very small policy to help with his funeral costs and AAA is not going to pay it out. There is no estate but they insist on writing the check to his estate so that I have to pay $10,000 to cash a $5,000 check. Per their own customer service my uncle tried to list me as the beneficiary on the account as I was his only heir. His attempts to list me as the beneficiary are noted on his account and they admit to it. They just refuse to write the check to me. The man paid them $50 a month for $10 years so he could pay for his own coffin and they stole his money. I would go with a real life insurance company as their professionalism isn't even on the charts. I wish I could bring their rating down but it's already a 1. Wish i could leave a 0. I am going to cancel my Roadside and be done with AAA forever. I hope this review reaches someone and they choose to go elsewhere.AAA Life Insurance Company
