I paid for a pair of Miracle Hearing aides in January, 2024, out-of-pocket and was told by Miracle Ear that my insurance would pay me the amount that was covered under my insurance plan.Miracle Ear told me they submitted a claim to my insurance provider in January. My insurance provider told me the claim contained coding errors and required re-submission, twice. They also told me the first submission did not happen until March. My insurance provider told me they sent a check to Miracle Ear on August 9th. I have not received it from Miracle Ear.The front office woman I speak to on the phone says it's the insurance provider is causing the delays. The insurance provider tells a different story. The office staff person will not provide contact information for the billing department. Instead, she calls them and they contacted me. Again, they say it is an insurance provider problem. The general manager doesn't have a phone number or contact information listed on their website, either.

On December 1st, I went into Miracle Ear to inquire about hearing aids. ************************* (the associate working there) had pressured me into signing a purchase agreement without given full information. I had my credit checked without written or verbal consent, and cried the entire way home from the experience. On December 6th, my two sons and I went back in order to cancel the transaction, and ******* refused to cancel the transaction, as well as tried to charge us a 10% restocking fee. When asked about having a written consent on a credit check, ******* replied "I don't need that, I had verbal consent" and I replied "I never authorized a credit check with you." ******* proceeded to harass me again as well as my sons and said "we are done here" without any resolution. We are looking to simply cancel the pre-purchase agreement, since we were not shown the actual product, as well as dispute the credit check which violates the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FRCA) because ******* pulled an unauthorized inquiry. We also feel that the 10% restocking fee should be waived since we haven't even been fitted for a hearing aid and samples were not shown.

We purchased a hearing aid for ******* from miracle ear for my 85 year old mom couple of years ago. We complained a Couple of times to the manager there and got no where. I found out now that I can post on bbb and get help. The hearing aid stops working every month its not a good product and my mom gets frustrated with it. It needs maintenance every 3 months to be cleaned but its not even working properly. They replaced it once but still does the same thing. My mom doesnt drive and Im too far from her to take it for maintenance. For that cost of a hearing aid we shouldnt be going through so much trouble. Not very friendly to use either. Please if you can help.
