Paid $602.01 on 6-3-24 $1748 on 5-19-24 $957.60 on 5-20-24 $3307.61 total I hired this company to fix my commercial air conditioning units. I had this company out 8-10 times over the course of 2 months. At first they told me that my parts had been broken due to water in the system. I paid them for new parts. That didn't fix anything. So they performed more tests and changed the fan speed and filled the freon and said that was the best they could do with these units and I just need new ones. No leak test, no engineers out to do a load capacity calculation. Meanwhile I had to buy a portable ac and 6 fans to keep the place cool. Everytime I had them out they would just shrug and act like I was being annoying. They never gave a detailed sheet of the work that they did, they just charged me an arbitrary amount each time. They were going to make me pay another $8k for new air conditioners without actually fixing the ones we had. Needless to say I hired another company to come out for a second opinion. They immediately diagnosed that both AC units were filthy and leaking freon. Something that Hulett Heating and Cooling neglected doing. They told me they filled the freon and that the reason my units weren't working was because they were too small. I felt like I had been scammed by Hulett. For them to not even clean the machine or do a leak test shows gross incompetence. When I asked them for a detailed list of the work that they had done to justify the money I spent, they stopped returning my messages. I asked for a refund on the yearly maintenance plan I bought and they didn't respond. I have a full write up from the new company I hired documenting everything that was wrong with the units. They said the units were filthy, parts corroded and freon almost completely out. I am hoping to get a write up from Hulett so that I can compare the two and ask for my money back.
