I ordered a cake for my son's first birthday months in advance, I sent inspiration photos to the owner over ******** Messenger. We spoke on the phone and confirmed the details of the cake (flavor, size, decorations) and I paid at that time. Upon pick up of the cake, it was nothing like we had discussed and I immediately called the bakery. I spoke with the owner who remembers taking my order and acknowledged what decorations should have been on the cake. She only apologized that whoever created the cake must have missed the clear instructions and offered a partial refund. I asked if we could skip the refund and she could make the decorations as the cake was nothing like ordered and wouldn't be usable. She said she was too busy and didn't want to give me decorations that were "half-assed" despite the cake itself being half-assed. She indicated she would give me a larger refund and that was it. 5 business days after the party and phone conversation, I called back asking for the status of the refund. The owner stated she remembered and it would take 5-7 business days. We are now past that time frame and no refund. I would NOT recommend this business. This is not the first review on BBB or their ******** page that indicates other customers were told they would receive a refund and have not. This is fraud and simply bad business.
