Hello I am writing a complaint for Dedicated Driving school. I have been attending this school for almost 4 weeks. I was set to complete my CDL Friday May 13th, which is tomorrow, as I am writing Thursday May 12th. This class was paid for through Michigan works. The total for the 4 week program was $4,500. This morning I arrived at the owner **** office to receive my ********** of ************** medical card which is a cost covered by tuition. When I arrived *** (the owner) wasnt yet there. Once he arrived I asked him if It was a good time to get my D.O.T card and that if it wasnt it wouldnt be an issue, and I could return at a better time. When he replied, and I quote could you let me get in the f****** door first? I replied that he didnt need to speak to me that way or be an a****** towards me for no reason. He responded by getting in my face yelling profanities and telling me to get the f*** off of his property. We exchanged a few words, and I left towards the yard where we do our training so I could attend my daily class. Shortly after I arrived *** pulled up and asked me, why the f*** I was still there and if I didnt leave he was going to physically remove me. When I didnt immediately leave he pulled along side me and began to approach me aggressively. I stood in a stance ready to protect myself and he called me a prison piece of s*** Knowing I had previously over 10 years ago been incarcerated. He then grabbed his phone and threatened to call the police on me at which point I simply left. The way I was treated goes beyond saying this is unprofessional. It was wrong in every way and regardless of ones feelings or mood, no one should be treated or talked to this way. Especially not a business owner who has already accepted payments for the services. Now I am 1 day away from graduation and have to pay an additional $350, and drive an hour away to take my tests and obtain my CDL-A license. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had.

It's very unfortunate when a disgruntled student knows what the truth is, yet takes the time to fabricate a nice lengthy story. (This same student gave us a 5 star review on ******** I will not dignify with such a lengthy response, as I know what really happened, as does my phone, as do the witnesses that were present. By the way, I wasn't here until 7:40...because we open at 8am.

[A default letter is provided here which indicates your rejection of the business's response.

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of why I am rejecting this response appear below:

[You must provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution. Please type details here:]
Nothing I said was fabricated. I did give a 5 star review to this business a few days after starting class, because I like to help businesses that deserve it obtain new customers. I love helping where its deserved. But I also will give my honest opinion and review when things like this take place. I gave that review before I was talked to and treated the way I was, 2 days before I was set to complete class and gain my CDL-A License. Upon making this complaint I learned that there has been multiple complaints about the owner of Dedicated Driving School. This is not the first incident he has had with students attending his school. The owner was aggressive, threatening, and disrespectful. Not to mention the services that he has been paid for have not yet been completed. He was paid $4,500 for the 4 month training, which includes classroom time, Pre-Trip Inspections, backing maneuvers and road time, as well as the test we take to actually obtain the license. My class has all tested out and received their licenses, while I have not. I am still waiting to be contacted to test out which was a part of what was paid for, or to receive the funding that paid for the testing portion, so that I can go elsewhere to test out and gain my CDL-A. This was the most unprofessional experience I have had with a business. *** has no response because what I have stated is accurate and true, and hopefully he understands he was in the wrong and I hope in the future he Carries himself as a professional and treats people with respect.

    Best Regards,
