Review of Service Repair at Garber Chrysler Jeep - Saginaw, MI I recently brought my vehicle into Garber Chrysler Jeep in *******, **, starting in November 2024 for a start/stop warning light issue. After several months of repeated visits, the issue was supposedly fixed in February 2025. This entire experience has been nothing short of frustrating.Despite bringing my vehicle in multiple times, the same issue kept reoccurring, and I had to continue paying for repairs that clearly werent getting the job done. The part that was supposedly repaired continues to fail, and Im left wondering why *** had to deal with this ongoing problem for so long. It seems that their service department lacks both the expertise and the attention to detail to resolve the issue once and for all.The cost of these repairs is another serious concern. I was charged an unreasonable amount for something that clearly wasnt properly addressed, and I feel as though Ive been taken advantage of throughout this entire process. If this start/stop issue has finally been resolved, I want to make it clear that I will never take another vehicle to Garber Chrysler Jeep in my lifetime. The repeated failures, high costs, and total lack of accountability have left me thoroughly dissatisfied.

**** **** brought her 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee to Garber ******** on 11/13/2024 with a concern of the engine auto stop feature not working accompanied by a warning indicator. Upon diagnosis it was determined that the main 12 volt battery had failed causing the issue. At this time the battery was under warranty and the repairs were performed at no charge. On 11/19/24 the vehicle would not start and was towed back to Garber ********. Upon diagnosis it was determined there was a fault within the main under hood fuse block. The failed fuse block circuit was bypassed per the customer in lieu of replacing the fuse block due to cost. Once the operation of the circuit was restored the starter presented as faulty and, in that time, it was determined the water pump was leaking as well. The customer authorized the starter and water pump be replaced. Upon repairs the vehicle was test driven and verified correct operation of all systems. On 1/6/25 the vehicle was towed back to Garber ******** as it would not start. Upon diagnosis the starter was determined to be faulty and was replaced under parts warranty. Upon initial start-up after the repair, a large plume of white smoke was noticed from the exhaust. It was determined that there was a failure within the cooling system. No further diagnosis was requested at that time and the vehicle was given back to *****************. On 1/25/25 the vehicle came back in to Garber ******** with a concern of a coolant leak. It was determined at this time that there was a failure of one or both head gaskets causing the white smoke as well as an engine misfire. The customer authorized us to disassemble the engine to the point of failure where we found severe contamination of the entire cooling system. The contamination appears that at some point there had been some intermix between two incompatible engine coolants that had caused severe clogging, not caused by Garber ********, but by a local independent repair facility where she was having her maintenance performed. An estimate was presented to **** **** for the replacement of the faulty head gaskets which also included replacing the heater core and radiator due to their severe level of clogging and contamination. In trying to assist **** **** in the cost of the repairs, we gave her a credit in the amount of $2,746 from her previous unrelated repairs towards the repairs to her cooling system issue. Repairs were authorized and completed. Upon repair the vehicle was test driven several times and all systems are operating as normal. We have reached out to ***************** several times to ask about her satisfaction with repairs, we have received no response.
