  Around November 2023 my son wanted to buy a car and I agree to be a co-signer on his loan, not a co-owner of the car. This was told to the salesman. When we went in to buy the car I felt that they were making me a co-owner of the car, but not to disappoint him I sign the paperwork. After we verified that I was a co-owner of the car my son contacted the salesman and he said that the way it had to be done. Since I co-signed on loans before I dont believe it. If the salesman would have told him up front this information, I would have gave my son the cash to buy it without needing a loan. Needless to say I paid it off in a few week and got my name off the title. I would never buy a car from this dealership.

  Regarding Review ID: ****** ******* ******** The car in question was purchased back on 12/19/2023, a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica. The contract does state that Mr. ******** was listed as a co-buyer in order to obtain Ally credit approval for his son ******* ********. It certainly does appear that Mr. ******** was aware of this at the time of delivery and there didnt seem to be an issue at that time. Had we known at the time that this would be an issue, we certainly could have tried to use a different lending source with using him as a co-signer. I certainly do apologize to Mr. ******** for any inconvenience this may have caused, but how the vehicle is titled certainly had no benefit for the dealership and am very disappointed that he feels will cause him to no longer do business with us.   I will never go this dealership again, the service department is very inadequate, the two girls working the service counter are really bad at any type of customer service, the dealership must be desperate for help. Ive been a customer for 8 years and the service team was always top notch, not any more just smart mouth, bad attitude, incompetent employees. The Jeep deAlership in *********** definitely a lot better, go to Saint Clair Chrysler Jeep BEWARE

  On 9/26/23 the customer who made this complaint visited our service department. Due to the lack of availability for the required part, we were unable to perform the requested service repairs for the customer in a timely manner. We certainly understand and sympathies with the customers frustrations, but unfortunately there continues to be a major parts shortage which we have no control over. I can assure you that we always treat our customers with the utmost respect and hold every employee to that standard and would have happily repair his vehicle if possible.
