            *********************** executed an installment contract on June 30, 2016 for the purchase of a 2012 ****** Camry.  This vehicle was financed by ************************* Services Inc.  She defaulted on the contract and the vehicle was repossessed and sold.  A deficiency balance remained.  This amount due and the obligation for same was sold to Autovest, L.L.C. on July 5, 2022.  Letters and phone calls have been made and sent by Autovest through its servicer, ***************************** & Associates for the past 2 years.

            Having first hand experience with this debt collector. Autovest LLC has shown little regard for the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. This debt collector has severely violated the ***** by rather than going through the process mandated, has decided to just set up a court case. This is a violation of my consumer rights. There are legal repercussions for this type of violation. Autovest is so interested in obtaining the money that they have risked violated the consumer acts. As a consumer I have not entered into an agreement of any kind with this debt collector.

            Autovest has hired a collection law firm to collect a debt that is over 10 years old. We have already came to an agreement in 2021 about the garnishment of my wages. Regardless I am a single mother with two disabled children. I do work part time and they did start garnishing in my wages in the middle of a pandemic. They stopped garnishing my wages without notifying me for months. Now I check my account and there is a bank freeze on my checking and savings for $-10,000 & $-9,000. Autovest did not contact me at all before the bank garnishment. I called the collection lawfirm (*********************************) ******* *******. They told me that this situation is rare that they do not jump to bank garnishments if the person is paying. This has disrupted my everyday life and my kids start school next month. This is very illegal and I would like to file a complaint against this company.

            We have been attempting to receive a payoff letter from these guys for three days. We have been yelled at, hung up on, and told anyone who can help us is sick. We had a debt with them that was paid off in 2014 and they failed to file a satisfaction of judgement letter, which is now causing us problems as we are trying to buy a home. They continue to give us the runaround and refuse to work with us, even though they are able to tell us that yes, this was paid in full many years ago.

            This business filed a judgment in 2021, I sent an answer to the **************************. I didnt hear anything else from either the business or the court regarding this matter. I received my paycheck 2 weeks ago and they have garnished my wages 25%. I contacted my employer and they stated they received the judgement. I did not receive nor sign for any documents however on ************************** public record website it states service perfected in May 2022. Id love to know how that was possible and who signed for this document. This debt is from 2012 and was charged off!
