I was contacted by a representative stating i could enter a plan paying them directly and zero payments would be due to the ***. Also stating I would never have to pay this money back unless i won the lottery. Never sent me a copy of the agreement, while waiting for a Tax professional to call me back and once contacted stated that what was explained to me in the initial call is not an option. at that point i asked to cancel, therefore them resulting in sending me the agreement with no refund since it was past the 7 days. they bait and switch you and take your money. I contacted this company to assist with fighting with the *** to correct a balance that was incorrect. I sent documents, signed authorization to allow them to access my records and then after what felt like forever I reached out because I hadn't heard from them, they said that I hadn't submitted any documents to them. So again I sent everything I had fromt the ***, letters, emails, and payments. I also sent in tax returns to show that they were inccorect. I signed an agreement and paid them $2450.00 to help. I thought well that's better than what I owe the *** at this point and thought this will help. Aftewr a few months of back and forth I was told that there was nothing they could do for me. They sent me an email stating that everything the *** had sent me was correct. They promised that they could fix this and I would end up paying nothing. I asked them to keep working on this and was told that they closed my case and that was that. I am now out this money and still owe the *** 15K. They basically did nothing to help me and paid them to tell me what I already knew.Initial Complaint

Hello, I purchased a service from MoneySolver from a sales rep for $5000 stating that they can get me the Fresh Start Plan offered by the state of California yet when I talked to the representative who is helping me they said it cant be done. I hired this company to assist me with tax issues I had to file unfiled taxed for 2 years and to assist in the settlement of back taxes owed , also to protect me for tax liens and levies and garnishments .I began make payment as of August 12th of $******* per month to the company and the company completed the filing of my tax returns only in August , in September I made my payment on 9/29 of ******* and I completed the financial information and returned it to tax specialist ******************* , and I was under the impression he was working with the *** revenue officer. On October 4th I checked by back account and it was frozen , I contacted by back and they advised that there was a legal hold on the account placed for 21 days by the ***. I attempted contact **** by phone , he did not respond, so I can the Tax defense network customer care and spoke with a manager there and he stated that he would work with **** to have the levy released well that did not happed and on Oct 16th the *** issued an second **** to the back for a different am amount again rendering me unable to pay bills , buy medication or food . I contact **** and he Minimized my concerned and side he did not think the ** would do that. I was devastated . I have called Tax defense again spoke with a manage ******* on 11/22/2023 to advise the agreement that **** and the ** worked out was not feasible for me to pay , she advise she would call me back after the holiday , no call received. Now 12/1 the *** has levied my bank again and taken every dime i have , i have noting to live on and can not pay my bills . This company promises security and help and does nothing. I contacted tax defense about helping with my tax debt. Contacted about state and federal tax debt. Seeking resolution on both. The whole process took about a year. In the meantime I had to come to my own resolution with state before garnishment of wages. They finally contacted state and confirmed the payment I had to set up. No work there. Then they informed me they were done without addressing federal. I had to mail back contract because she didn't know what was on it. Then she said she would have to talk to her boss and get back to me. I was then ghosted and her phone number no longer received calls. At which point I had to reach out to customer service to get answers. I got a return out of them. Long story short I did all the work and am still out 3k with zero mitigated interest or fees.
