    Today, 5/13/2022, I went to Dr. Blank's office for dental cleaning. While there, I asked about why I hadn't yet received a refund check for a transaction from 2019. The financial person said I had a credit for $56 though the amount owed was $149. I said I had receipts, and the person began ranting that she was tired of being threatened about the books. Needless to say, I did not get my teeth cleaned, and I was then forced to contact the BBB. All I want is what should have happened the moment my insurance company paid the dental **** and didn't happen, the immediate refund of my advance payment. The ****, my payment, and the insurance claim are all here, so that is all I want, what should not have become a problem.

    This individual received dental services in our office. We submitted the claim to his insurance provider. The patient was unfortunately  not aware he had a deductible towards the service. Therefore....he owed for the services provided because of the deductible. We called his insurance provider to verify this information. We also called the patient to explain what the error was and why he was confused about his account. He is well aware of this. We are refunding the correct amount of money that was owed to him from our office but because of the deductible it is less than what he thought he was owed. We have all the paperwork needed from the insurance to verify this which we happily offered to the patient. We also suggested that he call his insurance provider if he had any questions.
