I'm being generous with the one star because the shop that installed the device was excellent.First off, the advertised first month free never happened on Sept. 2024. Then, subsequent months, you do not get courtesy emails to remind you of upcoming payment reminders nor download appointments, so hopefully, you saved all your paperwork in a nice desktop file on your computer. Plus, one other thing, expect to pay $5 to $10 more per credit card charge per month for their upfee, depending on which type of cc/debit you *******, if you jump in your vehicle and start it at very cold temperatures (19 degrees), the device may take a long time to load up on the hand-held and the red light on the dash might not work at all (and that's normal to them), and when it does you blow, start your vehicle and head down the road as usual. A measly 8 minutes later (not normal and no red lights) it asks you to test again, which you do not once, but 15 more times because it says you are not blowing hard enough. Then bam...VIOLATION. It asks you to blow again with a light that finally pops on and low and behold you pass. Imagine that :-(I get home, wait till morning and see its on a timer and that I have 4 days to get in to be serviced for the violation. Call and explain, get it downloaded, call them back a few days later, and they tell me that it's not the machine's fault, but that I didn't have my lips wrapped all the way around the mouthpiece. Funny, that I've driven this vehicle fine for over 3 months and now I have a mouth problem.That was Dec 14, 2024. Now, Jan 4, 2025, I received a letter from the State of Michigan revoking my license for the violation of my lips thanks to this report along with the pictures of me blowing, which I appreciate, because I can clearly see that my lips are wrapped around fine on each blow. Oh, and they lied on the report as well, saying in the comments, that I "Skipped Retest" next to one of my 15 blow-tries.I'm having this removed ASAP.Nationwide Interlock

It is important to save this schedule to avoid missing appointments or payments. We do not send monthly reminders as we provide the schedule in advance and expect our clients to be responsible for their payments and appointments.Regarding your comment about the skipped test, the test was not accepted due to technical terms set by the state, not the interlock company. Highly recommend. Used for 5 years between ********* and no issues from them. Explanation and training on how to use done before installation. All fees, including yearly charges explained up front. The device never went bad on me. Had the same one all 5 years. Calibrations were no problem and quick. Whenever I had a billing question or wanted paperwork all staff over the phone were helpful.Nationwide Interlock

Hirrible service. Very difficult talking to a person on the phone. Call backs take hours. I dropped off my car for maintenance, did everythign they told me, and they never sent the code to the mechanic. Called support and got nowhere. Use another ********* provider. This firm doesn't take care of it's customers and their monthly fee is $100 more than other providers.***************, *******Nationwide Interlock

Firstly, I apologize for any inconvenience caused by the delay in obtaining the mechanic code from *******, the manufacturer. As you mentioned, they state on their website that it can take up to 4 hours to complete the necessary paperwork and obtain the clearance needed to shut off the device. I understand that this may have been frustrating for you, and I apologize for any inconvenience caused. I really wish Nationwide was able to provide this for you however the state does not allow the provider to , this has to come from the manufacturer.
Regarding the fees, I would like to clarify that we do not charge an additional fee for calibrations, unlike our competitors. We believe in providing transparent pricing, which is why we wrap all payments into one. This may give the illusion of higher fees, but in reality, we are often more affordable than our competitors.
Furthermore, I want to highlight that our competitors typically charge $100 or more for the mechanic code that you received from our manufacturer for free. It's important to consider all the facts and do thorough research before passing judgment on a topic.

I have had nothing but problems with this company. Hidden fees, no communication. Last December my vehicle's fuel pump went out and caused me to miss a calibration appointment. For that I got 6 months tacked on for a violation for missing a appointment! Between late fee Hidden fees unlock code fees I paid over 600 dollars in 2 months to drive for a month in February 2024! Now that my reduced fee has taken effect I don't have a schedule for my appointments anymore! So last Friday conveniently at 5pm the device goes off saying lock out in 5 days. My calibration is supposed to be every 2 months. Apparently not anymore. The nearest place for me to get it calibrated is 90 miles one way. This c*** is costing me every way lost work on top of it! Feels like excessive punishment. Borderline violating a person's 8th ammendment. And close to being extorted to drive again. I see why people give up.Nationwide Interlock

My experience with nationwide the handful of times I had to call in was absolutely wonderful. During a time that was very difficult I was always addresses with kindness, patience, and respect. I followed all of the advice and rules and my process was as smooth as it could have been. When I first had a system installed, the system was malfunctioning. I was nervous that I was doing something wrong so I called in and the tech had me scheduled the next day and it was replaced.
