      Company has repeatedly been told to stop sending books and subscriptions to my mother who has dementia. The company sends products and then, when she does not return them, sends invoices claiming she has agreed to purchase these items. My mother has Alzheimers and would receive these invoices with statements that read past due, which she found frightening - thinking she was delinquent on her bills. She currently has a balance of $19 and the agent I spoke with today at the company, **** at ext 341, informed me that her information is being sent to a collection agency. Again, my mother has dementia and is 85 years old. She currently resides in an assisted living facility and no longer lives at the address the items continue to be delivered to. This company seemingly preys on the elderly.

      I have ordered and paid for one book from Jerry Baker which I ordered a couple of years ago. Jerry Baker has continued to bill me for the subsequent book he sent to me that I didnt order. My husband opened the order accidentally. We are on a limited income and cant afford to return the book I didnt order. I continue to receive demanding invoices for payment from Jerry Baker. I have even emailed him and asked him to stop contacting me and I was told that I would be placed on a do not contact list - however, I continue to receive his invoices demanding payment.

      Regarding Alleged Customer: #*************** *************************** of ********, **, order #*** 738 800 The alleged customer received unordered merchandise (a book) from the company "Jerry Baker" on or around the last week of January 2023, along with a bill for the unordered merchandise. The bill erroneously claimed the alleged customer ordered the book or agreed to "preview" it, despite no such request ever being made. Good faith attempts (in accordance with the company's requirements despite not being a customer) to contact the company directly to resolve have been ignored. Company continues to harass the alleged customer with bills demanding payment for the unordered item. It appears the company targets vulnerable, elderly persons due to the subject matter of the books.

      I previously had purchased one book from Jerry Baker and paid in full. However, the company is now sending me unsolicited and unwanted books via mail and then asking for payment. The company does not respond to phone calls despite several attempts to cancel/opt out. I tried to reach the customer care manager *********************** but she never answers. The website offers a "remove from mailing list" form, which I filled out several times, however an error report always follows. This error report has been ongoing for 2-3 years now. Previous BBB complaints have also listed the error report after filling out the remove from mailing list (as if it were done on purpose to prevent individuals from opting out of the mailing list). The company also makes it expensive and difficult to return the book via mail. I would like to be removed from all mailing lists and have charges dropped for a book I never ordered.       Six months ago, in October 2022, I moved in with my elderly mother, *****************, at the address provided. She has health issues and dementia and can no longer live alone. I discovered an unpaid bill for this business and several collections notices. My mother does not handle her own money, another of her children has power of attorney, and my mother was hiding these bills in shame as she didnt understand why she was getting threatening mail. I saw to it the arrears was paid and sent in a request for her to be removed from any future mailing lists. I also noticed the letters she was receiving on an alarmingly frequent basis were telling her more books would be sent if she didnt send back refusals. This puts the onus on us to constantly tell them we dont want their books, which is a shoddy business practice. I have not seen any mail from this business lately so hoped this meant we had been removed from their list, but no, another unsolicited book showed up today. I want my mothers name and address permanently removed from their mailing list and to never receive another book or letter from them again. I also want for any charges on her account for this unsolicited book to be removed. We are sending it back but after reading the 3 pages of similar complaints against this company, I have little faith they will do the right thing unless forced to.

      Alleged date of delivery 8/3/2018 of a book "Solve it with Vinegar" by Jerry Baker. They are billing my uncle *************************, who is a disabled, retired Veteran for this item. I wrote them a letter on April 3, 2023, telling them that he did not order this. They send me a photocopy of an "Exclusive Invitation RSVP" where it states, "you've been selected for a special 21-Day FREE PREVIEW of Jerry Baker's best book ever - Solve it with Vinegar! - plus a valuable FREE GIFT. There's no risk-just mail this **********!".1) there is no indication that my uncle (I am his legal guardian) ordered this nor did he approve of them sending it to him. I don't see any proof whatsoever that he agreed to receive or keep this item. 2) It clearly says there is no risk - just mail this RSVP. There is no documentation that he RSVP'd or requested this. This charge needs to be reversed and we don't want to be contacted by them ever again.

      My mother who is elderly was sent a book from this company unsolicited. She was told she owed them money for it which she ended up paying because she was scared. She called them to get taken of the service which she never had to begin with and now she just got a second book in the mail. I just found out what has been happening. I threw the book out and told her to not answer any calls or mail from them. This is a scam company posing as a legit company to scam the elderly. It seems that they have done this to a lot of people. I dont understand how nothing is being done about this. I just want the company to leave my mother alone.
