    Charged $10,000. On my credit card and told me it was refundable if I wasnt approved for a loan, when the loan was denied. They refused to credit my card back and said if I take them to court that I would loose.

    I prefer a ZERO star rating, but had to pick 1. Very disappointed and upset that General RV has failed to stand behind their products and word that they would fix and or resolve a warranty issue we have with our 2024 Primetime Avenger purchased 6/2024. We were assured the issue would be resolved before we left with our brand new travel trailer and we have gone round and round since then to find out they are refusing to repair or compensate us for the $10,000. worth of damage to our trailer. We did not agree to pay full price for a damaged camper. The manager stated that this happens all the time and most people don't care. More like General never does anything about it for the customer. We are extremely upset and we will post our situation on all of our social media's and will make sure none of our family or friends ever buy anything from them again!

    I had bought an RV back in August of this year. After 3 months I had found multiple leaks and damage hidden in the floors of the slide out and the roof. I had contacted an RV mechanic and they had said the damage would cost over $25,000 to fix, more than what I had paid for the *** The mechanic had said it looked like something had been removed and replaced with duck tape on the roof. I had contacted General RV twice about the lemon they sold me and they keep just telling me to call my insurance and say it was bad weather that caused the damage, which did not happen. I also have a 3 year extended warranty that apparently does not cover leaks, even though the damage was there and hidden when I bought this (according to the mechanics.)

    General ** is a joke. They claim to inspect every product yet are comfortable selling defective products. Bought a camper and within 24 hours it was broken from poor craftsmanship. I brought the ** back and salesmans had the ***** to say that they a have a check list of all things they expect to break with their **s. So they knowing sell defective products. They refused to take back their garbage and something that was supposed to be a simple fix has now been over a week with no communication. Ive call several times asking to speak with ***** and ******** has refused to pass the message on. Whenever you ask to speak with a manager they are all busy. Stay away from ************* now General ** as they are a joke.

    ******! GENERAL RV IS A LIVING NIGHTMARE! If I could give negative stars, I would.Where do I begin with General RVs finance team? This was less a process and more like a punishment for daring to believe wed actually purchased an RV. From start to finish, the communication was so non-existent, I wondered if they had ghosted me or maybe that would have been better, actually. We closed our loan through MyFyUSA smoothly enough, but trying to get General RVs finance team to handle their end was like trying to start a fire in a rainstorm with wet socks: frustrating, pointless, and way harder than it needed to be.Every question was met with evasive answers or outright silence, every follow-up was shrugged off like we were asking for the moon. And if you think youll get any updates without relentlessly hounding them? Think again. Theyre the masters of leaving customers in the dark, which I can only assume is a strategy to make you forget you even bought an RV in the first place.This experience wasnt just inconvenient it was infuriating, exhausting, and downright insulting. General RVs finance team should take some basic training on communication, organization, and, I dont know, maybe a hint of respect for their customers. If you want a hassle-free experience, go literally anywhere else. Im giving the individuals we worked with a courtesy they DO NOT DESERVE by leaving their names out of this review, but for what it is worth, they should not have jobs as financiers especially considering me - the individual asking for the loan - had to define what a co-signer was to the financier which is proof that they dont know how to do their jobs. If it were not for My Financing USA being our saving ****** we would have been screwed over and overpaid by $20,000 dollars. Trust the reviews. They are there for a reason.

    Key points in the complaint:Protective Coating Issue: After purchasing a special protective coating for the RV's exterior and interior, the customer discovered it was not applied during the original service in October 2022. After winterizing the *** they were asked to bring it back for the coating, which caused inconvenience. When they returned in April 2023, they were not provided proof that the coating had been applied, raising doubts about the service's completion.Inverter and Generator Issues: They reported that the inverter and generator were malfunctioning. The generator was replaced by a third-party company (******** Generator), but despite multiple attempts to schedule the inverter repair with General *** they received no response.Lack of ***************** Repeated calls and messages left between July and August 2023, with no reply from General RV. The customer eventually contacted the *************** for alternative service providers in ****. Attempts were made to discuss the lack of customer service and ensure the protective coating was applied properly. General RV response was no response.

    General ********** never put a deposit down unless you are 100% certain they say they will give the deposit back. I am fighting to get my deposit back call one day later after they stated I would be able to have my deposit back and here we are about a month away and I am fighting to get a deposit back, the sales *** was almost impossible to get in touch with after the fact after I put it disputing with my credit card people, I finally was able to get in touch with him and he claimed there was nothing he could do now since I put dispute in, which is totally false according to the credit card company if I could give them minus stars, I would

    They waited to cancel on me the morning I was headed to pick up my new trailer when they knew the week before it wouldnt be ready. After rescheduling, the day to pick the trailer up finally came. I had to wait an hour or so after my appointment time to get started, and during the walk through the air conditioning unit didnt work. Lastly, during financing I found out I was stuck paying for an appearance package and an interior treatment I had no knowledge of. I already need a dealer to look at an issue with my new trailer (factory defect) and I asked them if I can take it to any other dealer.

    I want to give a shout out to ******** Good and ******* B for solving our crisis this morning. We own a 2022 **** ****** purchased thru General RV at ***** show, our sales representative extraordinaire ******** Good! Thanking God I saved her phone number!! This morning, while trying to leave our campsite in ************** to get home to Stuart ******* before hurricane ****** hit our rear jacks would not come up! I searched in my phone for a contact for General RV and wound up calling ******** who answered bright and early on a Sunday morning very happy to help. My husband and I explained our situation and ******** jumped into action, reaching out to her support people, *******, B! ******** and ******* provided multiple fixes to our problem and voila, up went are Jacks!With all the negative things that people say I think its really important when others go above and beyond their job descriptions to help a customer with a problem. If youre in the market for an RV we highly recommend ******** Good at General RV!
