On August 8, 2024, the business entered into a Consent Order with the Minnesota Department of Commerce. The Consent Order settles allegations that the business erroneously denied 8,389 claims for medical equipment and supplies for the treatment of sleep disorders, in violation of Minn. Stat. §§ 62Q.75 subd. 2, and 72A.201, subd. 8(2) (2022). The business has reprocessed the claims referenced above and paid them with interest.
Under terms of the Consent Order, the business agreed to pay a civil penalty in the amount of $83,890.00. The Consent Order was for settlement purposes only and should not be considered as an admission of guilt or finding of violation of the law. For more details go to the below link.
