            Government Action: BBB reports on known government actions involving business’ marketplace conduct:
            Minnesota Dept. of Labor & Industry Consent Order

            On May 25, 2023, the business entered into a Consent Order with the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry (DLI). The Consent Order settles allegations that the business violated Minn. Stat. 326B.082, subd. 11(b)(1) and 326B.46 (2022) Under terms of the Consent Order, the business agreed to cease and desist from performing or offering to perform plumbing work in Minnesota without the appropriate license from DLI.  The business also agreed to pay a penalty of $250.00 of a $3,000.00 penalty, with the balance stayed on the condition that the business fully complies with the Order and has not future violations of any laws, rules or order under DLI authority. The Consent Order was for settlement purposes only and should not be considered as an admission of guilt or finding of violation of the law. For more details go to the below link.

            I hired All Trades Construction in the fall of 2023 to do some significant rehab on my property, ranging from a complete bathroom remodel and new flooring to painting and kitchen cabinets and windows. We completed a sworn construction statement and had stages of progress for the work. There were continuous delays throughout the project. All Trades failed to pull all appropriate permits and used the name of a licensed plumber for the bathroom permit but hired a different plumber to do the work. That plumbing work was never completed and had several leaking spots. Much of the promised work was never completed. The paint job was shotty. The flooring had to be redone. One of the windows was installed incorrectly. Gas line was capped instead of relocated, leaving the stove unusable. Then, all of a sudden, All Trades informed me that they were filing for bankruptcy. I have had to hire another contractor to complete the work, which costs even more money.

            Stole over $14,000 of my insurance money after a pipe froze and flooded my entire house. *** promised to start and finish our home with the $14,000 we sent him and four months later our home is in worst condition than when he began. This has been completely heartbreaking for our family with nowhere to reside plus all the money we had to fix our home.. gone! Please do not work with this heartless man. We now have to take his company to civil court just to get our money back to fix our home. *** has stopped communicating with us entirely and left us with no other options. I am begging you to please go with another company. He is a thief, manipulator, narcissist and a scam artist. Becareful.

            I have never done any business with anyone named essence. I looked at the picture & read the review. I seen this person who wrote this review once in my life at a property which we renovated a vacant unit of a duplex for the owner. I had countless problems with this owner. The owner breached the contract several times. ****************************** investigated what happened & sided with me.Less than a day later this review was posted. I never stole any money from anyone & cannot believe the claims made in this defamatory review especially since I have never even spoken to or dealt with the person who wrote this. My lawyer found a connection between this person & the other person who wrote a bad review. It seems these two have went on a campaign defaming me, attacking my character & attempting to hurt my business with untrue reviews. Before these two I never had anything less than a 5 star review now my rating is 4.1 stars as a result of there actions. The other person I literally have never even met in my life & never done any work for her. I will be seeking legal action.
