    Contractor: Christians Remodeling *************************************************** ***** ** License #: ******** I hired ********************************************* in April of this year. ******, who says he is the owner, went with me through the house as I told him what I wanted to have done. I had no idea how this process worked. ****** then called me with a price of $60,000. Nothing was given to me in writing. He never asked me to choose what I wanted; he just picked everything out! He then said I would have to pay all of this upfront, and I did. I now know this was wrong, and I feel very taken advantage of.****** said that when he was working on this job, I needed to leave my front door unlocked so he and his guys could come and go as they wanted to. There were consecutive weeks where no one ever showed up, and no communication. I did leave my door unlocked, and I now know how wrong and unsafe this was. It has now been 8 months, and things are not done, unsafe, and what is done is primarily poor in quality. With some help and education on how this process should have worked, we told ****** to stop. He had previously committed to paying me back $3500 for a fireplace that he removed months ago and never replaced. Last week on Monday (10-30-23), we gave him until Friday to deliver or mail a check for this $3500.We now respectfully request your help.******************* ********************************************************

    I have gone to her home  to see her and I have not been able to see her or missed her.
    If she could call me to set up a time to meet I could pay her, or where she would like for me to drop off the check.
    And she did pick the flooring, colors for paint tile excetera. Thats not how I have run my  business for the past 22 years.

     I am rejecting this response because: It was very clear to mail a check, gave him 7 days to do so and even extended that 3 more days.  I do not want him coming to my home.  He just needs to mail the check and I will close this case.
