    I had the Bat Guys at my house in 2019 to bat proof the house.($1335)...I had them out again in 2022 as I had bats again. This fee was $320 and I was told that my chimney needed to be remortared as thats the only place they could see the bats might be entering the house. In 2023, I had another business look at my chimney and they found a huge hole in the screen that covered the chimneyIn 2019, I was charged for screening and a chimney cap.Its quite apparent that this was not used on my chimney and that hole had been there for quite a while.I believe they never screened or capped the chimney or ?looked? at it..so disappointed in their serviceI have picture that have been sent to the company along with a statement. I would not recommend this company.Sorry...

    ***** emailed us on Tuesday 10/31/23 stating that she had a company come out to address her chimney and found a hole in the galvanized mesh screening. We responded to her email the same day, 10/31/23, that we would look over the matter, send the pictures they provided to the technician for their review, and would get back with her. We would have been more than willing to come out to look at the issue and address it if the customer had given us the appropriate time to review. At that time, we received a notice from BBB which did not give us that right amount of time to speak with the customer and technician to come up with a plan.The technician applied the galvanized mesh screen over the chimney since there was no chimney cap. This screen was assessed on 09/20/2019, we can provide documents. In the document the technician stated: "customer must check screen on chimney if burning wood- may have problems in the future with the ridge vent- quote for installing our custom ridge is an additional $1500.00 plus tax- has cobra rolled exhaust vent for a ridge vent- soffit and facia is rotting in spots and may also need repair at owners expense". The original job was done in 2019, can provide documentation. We also came back out in 2022, can also provide documents, to re-inspect her home and the ridge vent she was having issues with. From the pictures the customer sent, it is apparent that either a raccoon, squirrel, or some other animal may have ripped through the screening. Again, we would have worked with the customer to address the issue if she allowed us to but instead, she sent an email to the BBB before we could even look over the situation in a timely manner.This is unfortunate and understand the customers frustration, but this issue as of what we can see from the pictures provided was not caused by our company or lack of service.
