Getting someone who can help you and follows through hasnt happened for me in a year and half. When trying to get questions answered about my care or billing you get transferred to someone else and no one ever gets back to you. Messages are not returned. Its like a big black hole and no one is accountable.I have been asking for clarifications on charges on my bill for over a year a half and still dont have answers. I call repeatedly week after week, I have even stopped into the office (their billing department is located elsewhere), and at my last appt they even placed a note on my chart for the billing department. NO ANSWERS!!! I asked for my medical records (so I can go elsewhere) which also took multiple requests. I was incorrectly Timeline ***** appt Feb 2022 (waited 2 months to get in)Sleep study April 2022 (waited 2 months to get in)Finally Received CPAP End of Oct 2022 (waited 6 months and received a very large/bulky machine that is an old model)Follow up appt for Insurance End of Jan 26 2023 - they incorrectly billed this out of network costing me $707.70 out of pocket when my in network cost is much much less. When I didn't pay they proceeded to turn me over to collections even though I repeatedly asked them to correct the bill. After over 30 failed attempts of contacting them, and unfortunately paying collections I have been having my insurance company try to help me have them rebill this correctly. My insurance company has been unsuccessful in hearing back from them as well. This claim needs to be re-submitted correctly by Northstar Sleep Center. Please read their customer reviews, this is a long-standing problem with this healthcare facility for others as well. I have all documentation of calls, bills, and payments if needed (they also have this information). .
