The Order settles allegations that the business violated Consent Orders from December 2019 and December 2020 and provided estimates for work for several homeowners. The projects were not completed as of the date of the action and no permits were obtained for any of the work. The business violated Minn. Stat. 326B.082, subd. 7; 326B.805, subds 1 and 3; 326B.33, subds. 14,15 and 16; 326B.46, subd. 1 (a-c); 326B.074, subd. 1, and 326B.84 (2) and Minn. R, 2891.0040,subps. 1C,1D, and 1H by acting as a licensed residential building contractor, electrical contractor, plumbing contractor without the required Minnesota license as well as failing to file or obtain required permits and violating the 2019 and 2020 Consent Orders.
The Administrative Order lifts the stay of the $18,000.00 penalty from the 2020 Consent Order and assessed an additional penalty of $30,000.00. In addition, the business and owners of the business are ordered to cease and desist from acting as a residential building contractor, remodeler or residential roofer in Minnesota as well as to cease and desist from offering to perfrom or perfoming pulbuing and/or electrical work and mechanical work in Minnesota.
