      I bought a **** ****** Altima in Dec of 2021, literally a month ago. It was taken to the shop ( Cooks Auto ) as recommended from the dealership (Carhop) twice in the first couple of weeks of purchasing the car and Cooks Auto told me that nothing was wrong with the car. I was uneasy about the results they presented so I went and got a second opinion with Orileys they in formed me that the transmission was bad and I was given a code that I later gave to ******* a employee at Carhop to put on file. A few weeks later the car stops running because of engine and transmission issues. I did everything to avoid this from happening. Luckily the car is on a 18 month warranty but unfortunately due to this issue, I have no reliable transportation and my job is threatening to terminate me for being out of work caused by car problems I did not create. I am also late on my car note and late on rent due to having covid earlier this month and including not being able to work because of these car issues. So I plead that, I could at least get a loaner car or I would like to exchange this car with exceptions because I was not aware of all of the different problems before purchasing and it has only been one month, please help.

      Niya purchased a vehicle from CarHop on November 30, 2021.  The contract was later assigned to ******************************** (CA) d.b.a. CarHop Finance. The purchase included both a seven-day money back guarantee and an 18 month / 18,000-mile limited warranty.

      While it is unfortunate when any of our customers has mechanical issues, unforeseen problems do sometimes occur with used vehicles.  Our records indicate that CarHop has honored its limited warranty.  Niya decided on January 21st, 2022 to voluntarily return the vehicle and CarHop Finance released Niya from the remaining balance on her contract. CarHop Finance furnished a report to the ************************* (CRAs) with the status of settled-paid in full.  It may take the CRAs up to 30 days to reflect this status.

      They are selling unsafe cars for people to drive and not wanting to help fix the issue that should had been fixed before getting sold and letting people test drive cars with trash everywhere

      ****** purchased a vehicle from CarHop on December 16, 2021.  The purchase included both a seven-day money back guarantee and an 18 month / 18,000-mile limited warranty.

      While it is unfortunate when any of our customers has mechanical issues, unforeseen problems do sometimes occur with used vehicles. Our records indicate that CarHop has been honoring its limited warranty.  ****** informed CarHop on January 18th, 2022 that he decided to trade in the vehicle at another dealership.

       I am rejecting this response because:

      Every time I called they told me there was no manager in and they told me that they surf the car safe drive when it was not with the limit was messed up and they didnt offer to help me with it until I kept calling and telling her that I sorry car then they decided to give me some businesses that were out of there that work was for either run of shop or down by their store which was unsafe for the vehicle to travel and I said I never detail cars it was OK for me to drive a dirty car that was filled with trash when I test drove that car versus assessable because he never let somebody truck test drive a car filled with trash and you never to or disclosed that the alignment was messed up  it took me over a month just to get a response from them for any of this they finally called me after I took matters with my overhands and got a safer car for my child to be in and I care if my car wouldve fallen apart on the highway or maybe crash with my case and they or anything they didnt even leave a duty thing so I went into the car because I wanted a car that was safe for my kid to be in

      We went to buy the vehicle after doing a test drive and Carhop said they would provide us with a full vehicle inspection report. They never once sent us one. After owning the car for 4 days the car wouldnt start. They had us tow our car to their mechanic. Our vehicle was damaged while on their lot. They told us we now have to fix the damaged stereo and broken window on the car while in their care. They told us the battery was the issue and showed us our front end was zip tied together. We called carhop they wont refund our money or take care of the repairs even though they didnt tell us. Then we had the car for another 4 days and the car didnt start again. So we towed the car once again to the mechanic. After waiting a few weeks for the car they said it was the battery again. Then after 1 day it wouldnt start. So we towed it again and havent heard from the mechanic its been over 2 months. We now have registration due and need to smog the car and they wont even contact us back.

       I am rejecting this response because:

      This is very untrue. No one had been trying to contact me. I do not have any missed calls or emails and havent for months. Its not just mechanical issues. I have only driven the car a few times since I bought and am still paying even though I dont even get to drive it. Its in your shop and has been for 2 months and no one will contact me back. Also you have it to me with the front end zip tied without disclosing it and I did notice before the 7 days and you said it didnt qualify. You also didnt do the right thing when your mechanic had my car in possession was vandalized and you told me I needed to figure it out. It was your preferred vendor that I have to take it to but Im the one suffering. I paid for a good car and I have been wronged I have barely drove this thing and you have forced me to be stuck with you.

      My name is *************************** and as of April 10th of 2021 I purchased a 2008 ****** Rogue from Carhop under the impression that the car had indeed passed smog and that all vehicle parts were of working condition. Within having the car for less than 60 days and putting **** miles on the car, the check engine light came on in the vehicle. I took it to mechanic to have the car diagnosed, to find that the catalytic converter in the vehicle was faulty. They had sold me a car with an after market catalytic converter put into the vehicle, which for the ******************* is illegal. I was also told that the car could not have passed smog legally with the converter that was put into the car before it was sold to me, so they illegally sold me a car that did not and could have passed a smog test nor is compliant with CARB CA standards. As of 8/1/21 when driving my car back from my office the car had a loud bang, and then lost all acceleration. I again took it to the same mechanic to diagnose
