    This complaint is regarding a transaction with Forrest Evavold's Nordic Auction. My mother was being moved into an assisted living apartment and Nordic Auction was consigned all furniture and belongings due to downsizing. The pickup was made on October 18, 2021. We weren't provided a receipt for merchandise that was taken, Drivers had us sign the document and we were told that a copy would be sent to us via mail once management completed the form. We do have a detailed listing of all major items taken but none were on the itemized sheet that was signed. Several attempts have been made to Forrest and he continues to tell us, "it's still on the truck". On October21, 2021 I contacted Forrest to let him know that we inadvertently had them take a floor lamp, family heirloom, and he said they could pick it up within a few weeks, still have not received the lamp. Forrest has returned some calls only to say he'll get back to us but never does. He also remarks several times that he's had some major auction events that have been worldwide, this doesn't mean that his customers in the surrounding areas don't deserve to have transparency, or customer service offered to them. I reached out to Forrest within the last week and still have had no response. We have now reached over a five month's period with no resolution in sight. I've been trying to get a resolution for my mother, 93, long distance from ****, **. By reading other complaints I am learning that this appears to be a normal practice for Nordic Auction and their business practices. It's a shame and a disgrace that they have displayed an unacceptable work ethic, no transparency and apparently no regard for the customers that provide for their incomes. Any guidance or assistance that you can provide will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for taking this complaint into consideration.

    Kristian, I just received a call from Forrest ******* and we have made restitution with a fair settlement amount. If possible Please reinstate your former rating for Nordic Action, ******, **. My family and I are very appreciative for all of your efforts,  Complaint #********
