I paid Vision Pro $175.10 with a credit card on 9/6/23. I paid an additional ($175.10) on 9/15/23 when I picked up the glasses. Total amount paid was $350.20. After the insurance company processed the claim (9/9/23) I was owed a refund of $158.7. I brought my paper work to Vision Pro in late September (it was after 9/16) asking for a refund. The person I spoke with seemed puzzled by the discrepancy. That person said she would need to check in to the matter and get back to me. She called later and informed me that Vision Pro had neglected to bill my insurance company for an added feature to my glasses and had to bill again. That claim was processed on 10/19/23. I have still over paid Vision Pro for my glasses and am still waiting for a refund which now totals $63.70. Two weeks ago I stopped in at Vision Pro to confirm that a refund was still forthcoming. This Thursday it will be 6 weeks since the 2nd claim was processed. I was told after I made the first payment that I would not be able to retrieve my glasses until the entire balance had been paid. I paid the first half on the day of my first visit and I question the reason for having to pay the 2nd half since it was the wrong amount I needed to pay. This kind of practice speaks high volumes of insurance fraud to me. The first claim was processed on September 9th and it wasn't until I went in to the office and inquired about a refund that they determined an error had been made in their billing. It is not my job to point out their errors nor should it be up to me to wait while they correct their error. I would like my refund of $63.70! I have provided Vision Pro with all the documentation that supports my claim!
