    Govmint.com is a marketing company and not a bullion dealer. They advertise "Today's Deals" at discounts when they don't even have the product available. You are then bombarded with texts and emails of products at ridiculous prices. And then poof...your order gets cancelled when you don't buy anything from them. They could have offered a replacement product. A 1/2 oz of gold is a 1/2 oz of gold regardless of what year it was minted. They could have offered a 1 ounce coin for every two 1/2 ounce coins purchased. They did not. Shop at a bullion dealer and not this company.

    I placed an order on 3/23/25 order number originally the shipping time was 4/13/25 which I was OK with. Now I called after item wasn’t shipped and was told it was going to be 4/21/25 when a shipment came in and “I was In” to get this order. Also I was told the shipment for this item was coming in 4/21/25 and I was in line to get the item shipped to me. Now I receive an email that it’s back dated to 4/25/25. So is govmint going to postpone again after the 4/25/25 too or truly send the item? It says in stock on the website. I agreed when I placed the order to that date of 4/13/25. No where did it state on the advertising of this item that it was on back order. I don’t feel I was able to make an informed decision if I truly wanted to purchase for an in stock item that was actually back ordered. The advertising led me to believe it was an item in stock. It still states today even the item I ordered is in stock on the website. I hope that’s taken down and advertised that it’s on back order so future customers can make an informed decision when purchasing. This is my first time ordering and first impression of this company. I hope to see this fulfilled. I have never, I mean never ordered from a bullion company that said something was in stock and then almost a month later after order was placed that it’s again and again on back order. I have purchased from many different bullion companies and this is not a normal practice that I’ve ever come across. Usually if sold out or back ordered I can click an option to be notified if an item is back in stock. I can order this item from another company I noted has it and I would’ve had it already which is the an example respectfully. Their website has the same item available and In stock and available to ship as soon as possible. I already had called about this order once and not ok with it being back dated again and again. So I’m interested to know how can Govmint rectify this?

    If an item is in stock when I placed the order it doesnt matter about higher than expected demand is what Im saying. It would be shipped. As its in stock. The other bullion sites ship it to me as its in stock. What most bullion companies do and what I expect as a standard in general is once an item in stock sells, that the website states out of stock. Then has a pre- order option if the bullion company plans to place orders for more. Than you can post- pone with updates on higher- than- expected demand. Not on in stock items is what Im saying. Its customer transparency and correct advertising on the website. So a customer can decide if they want to order a pre-order and wait for an out of stock item. Which this company doesnt have the item despite the website stating so. I already called and was told I was going to have it shipped on 4/21 and its pushed to 4/25 so this item is clearly not in stock. The Govmint website states on their website item I purchased in stock when its actually not. At all. Is what Im getting at. Respectfully, Im used to bullion sites shipping in stock items and having me wait for pre- ordered ones. Thats what Im getting at. Can Govmint make those changes to match the industry standard on bullion websites? How will Govmint rectify this? Id appreciate a discount automatically on my current order Im waiting for. This order hasnt been taking care of, first time buyer, so I want to see how this order goes. Thanks

    I have only one complaint! My first representative was Jim. My complaint is: He retired about 10 years ago. Otherwise, I have never had a problem with any orders in around 20 years dealing with them. Sure, there are times when an item is sold out or backordered, but, that happens in most all businesses; even donut shops run out of goodies at times. So, SUCK it UP you spoiled brats and allow GM the opportunity to satisfy and/or make right your purchases.     Ordered a product. Hit my credit card. High-demand product. Govmint could not find my order and had to create it. Order created (with order number); was told credit card was declined (which is utterly inaccurate); mysteriously the product I ordered is no longer available. Very unprofessional; I question the business practices of Govmint and would NOT recommend anyone consider any of their products.

    Purchased a 2024 Niue $2 1-oz Silver Nightmare Before Christmas Jack Skellington Colorized Proof on Oct 5th for the site shows it's in-stock, but once paid for and check up on the order it says it's on backorder find this misleading, so what turned out to be a early purchase for a birthday gift will lead me to no gift on their special day:( and a return visit to the site highly unlikely if not received by Oct 28, 2024
