I has a subscription. However, when I was admitted for my mental health care I did not renew my subscription in July 2023, because I did not know when or if I would be released from treatment. Nevertheless, after repeated request to stop, I am still receiving past due notices. I have not use the services since I canceled and do not understand why I am being billed. I have not been able to rectify this issue on my own and need BBB help.

We have been customers of West/Thomson Reuters for more than forty years. I contacted Thomson Reuters prior to our subscription renewal date to cancel our account due to our attorney experiencing a sudden medical emergency. I have attempted to contact them repeatedly for almost three months. I have submitted online support requests, emailed the support email address, replied to direct emails from several customer service reps, replied to emails from the accounting department and the legal department. All but one of my emails have gone unanswered and Thomson Reuters continues to invoice us each month for services we no longer use.

I believe Findlaw posted or allowed to be posted a false negative review about me to induce me into purchasing a renewal of their services so the review could be removed. After signing a one year contract, findlaw has now extended my contract saying I failed to provide notice of termination of the contract. I do not want to continue services with them and their billing and collection practices are unethical. We also continue to be contacted by representatives attempting to contact us for sale of services. We want Findlaw to stop charging us and to remove any and all references of myself or my law office that can have a negative review.

I have been charged for over two years by this company for a product that I am not receiving. This service is tied into other service I am receiving and set on autodraft. I have attempted to resolve the issue for a year and a half constantly getting put off to someone else who also does not resolve the issue then after a time no longer works for the company. I have asked numerous times to be put in touch with someone capable of resolving the issue. I continue to be ignored. This is theft.

On or about December 2022 my office hired FINDLAW, a division of ****** Reuters, to handle my website. I am a sole practitioner and agreed to a monthly price of $841.13 per month. All of a sudden I received collection corr that I was being charged $2800.00 per month. I could not believe it but did not get upset because I figured my "REPRESENTATIVE" WOULD CORRECT THE ****** Well, I was shocked when he said that "it must have been a miscommunication and my hands are tied, either pay in excess of $13,000.00 or we are terminating your web page." I have spent days upon days leaving messages, trying to get in touch with corporate, trying to get in touch with anyone! I have been in practice 30 years, why would I agree to an amount which would bankrupt my company? This is deceptive actions, which were obviously never agreed to by me. I cant believe a company of this prestige, referred to me by the ******* Bar, would have no one to speak to other than my "representative" who is the one who caused all of this.

We have account # ********** for PORDOC. ********************** stopped supporting this software and blocked out access due to their changes for nearly 18 months. We have contacted them repeatedly but they failed to resolve the issue to let us use it but continued to charge us. We asked them to stop the subscription but which they said they did but they continued to charge our credit card. We are demanding a full refund for $146.37 monthly charge for 18 months. This is theft and unbecoming of a reputable company like ThomsonReuters. We have attempted to call them repeatedly but they are a huge company and each tie we speak with a different person that makes another false promise. ProDoc is not supported and has not been usable by us for over 18 months. We are prepared to file a formal ************************ Complaint and a lawsuit to recover our money. Stop charging our credit card and refund us our money. We have a pending case with them (Case # ********).

On June 26, 2023, I signed up for a subscription with Westlaw and began to use it that same day. Other times, Westlaw has offered free trials in order to use the system and get familiar. They did not have such offers at this time. I believe I accidentally accessed two out of plan documents unbeknownst to me, as previously out of plan documents had not been accessible. The week after I received an email from the company stating that I have incurred almost $1000 in additional charges due to viewing two out of plan documents and that I should upgrade my subscription/plan. I am so deeply disappointed in Westlaw for their predatory tactics that I canceled my entire subscription on the spot. I will never get Westlaw again and will advise others to not utilize this company.

I had a subscription for Checkpoint Learning the past few years with some gaps. I have renewed on an as needed basis. Previously, when the subscription ended it would be effectively cancelled and I would pay when I was ready to renew. This year, I have received multiple "past due" notification from the company in spite of me stating, I no longer need the subscription. (Invoice #********)I was informed by their ****************************** that, according to their policy, I have had to cancel 90 days in advance and the subscription is now non-cancellable. I asked them to clarify when this policy change went into affect, since this was not the case in the past, but received no reply. They continue to send overdue invoices, although I have asked to cancel the subscription in light of the fact that it was a policy change that was not communicated to me.

I have a membership with Thomson Reuters (TR) Acct#**********. I've been a long-term client of TR. I thought I was doing a search in the IL *********************. I accidentally did the search in TR. I went out of plan and now TR wants to charge me $3,156.00 for this mistake. TR could easily block users from going out of plan. Rather, what they do is use out-of-plan charges to renegotiate extended contracts with their clients.I am dealing with *****************************, Account Executive, at TR. He's trying to use my mistake as an opportunity to upsell me on an extended contract. I have never been happy with TR's services. I do not want to extend my existing 3-year contract. I want TR to credit my credit card $3,156.00. TR charged my credit card this fee even though I was trying to work out a solution with them.
