      There was 1 strand of hair in our child's eye on picture day. The Lifetouch / Preschool Smiles photographer could only be bothered to move that strand out of their eyes for just 1 photo (out of many). Their package description was not clear. And upon reaching out to the company for clarification (over a month and a half), we were just ignored. The pricing is ridiculous. Schools need to drop their contract with this company.

      The cost is criminal. I just paid $26 for one class photo, not to mention the $30 I paid for the cheapest package available to get a digital copy so I could actually get reasonably priced photos printed anywhere else. I'm contacting the school. This is absolutely outrageous. If each kid bought a class photo from each grade and a basic package, that is $10,000 for one day of clicking a button. The only word for this is criminal.

      Had my daughters portraits taken inside JCpenny. Only for wait over a month for portraits to be mailed out . Once received they were damaged. Had a hard time getting in contact with customer service and was advised they would refund me my money which should take 7-10 days to go back to my card . Only to call and get an update due to it being over the allotted time only got advised Id have to wait 6-8 for a paper check . **************** ***** . Spoke with ***** today then was transferred to a supervisor named *****!!! Lifetouch is a rip off ! This company gets NO STARS . I will be sure to leave a review on ******** , ****** and all other social media platforms

      How is this company still in business?? I had an issue with a yearbook order and engaged in a chat with an expert conversation. Huge waste of time. They just gave unhelpful, scripted responses that hardly related to the issue at hand. The expert I was chatting with offered to have a supervisor call me, but I was simultaneously checking these reviews and saw how terrible the company is in generalnot even BBB accreditedso I opted not to subject myself to more incompetence. I suggested to the person that they work for Jostens insteada far superior company.

      LifeTouch is simply terrible - were they always like this?? The photos are taken by employees hired to go out to do a job then go home. Lifetouch is banking (literally) on the name that has been around for so long. There is no quality now, sadly. I really wish there was more care put into the photos they take. I hope school districts can see through the benefits they receive from hiring LifeTouch and move on to companies who care about the product they put out there.

      We ordered a set that includes two pose photos and one class photo, but the class photo was unavailable, and they sent an 8x10 image instead of the class photo. Lifetouch customer service informed us that this issue was clarified on their help pages.However, during the entire process of placing our order, we were never informed that the class photo was unavailablethis is the main issue. Customers cannot be expected to check every help page on a website before making a purchase. Additionally, our receipt clearly states that we would receive a class photo as part of the ****** our hometown, its a tradition to have a class group photo each year, which is why we placed this order. If we had known there would be no class photo, we would not have purchased this set. Lifetouch has only offered a partial refund for the missing class photo, which is unacceptable.

      I ordered my child's school photos and download and never received them. Now I cannot get any help by calling or online chat. They are impossible to reach.

      If I could give a zero review, I would! Don't order these pictures. I had them shipped to my mailing address, and one of my kid's pictures made it to the mailing address. The second one went to their school which thankfully got sent home with them. The third well lets just say I got my money back as the first time of ordering I didn't receive after 4 weeks. They quote reordered them which would take another 2-4 weeks trying to put the blame on me for using the wrong school code which I told them I used the code you had on my kid's photo sheet plus I had them being sent to my mailing address so why does it matter what school code. Well 4 weeks came and they didn't even ship them. They couldn't even express ship it as I told them these were Christmas presents for family members. They said "I can take note to them to ship as fast as possible, but can't guarantee it." So needless to say I won't be ordering from them ever again and I thought they would be better than our last school's choice in a photographer for school photos! If you do order, best of luck! Hope you get them in time you need them!

      Jcpenny Portraits in *********** really messed up this time. On Nov 23 I went to take birthday photos of my son. The wait time was 3hrs. I got there at 5:45pm for my session and didn't leave until 9:45pm. To make matters worse I was sent an email the day after that my digital images were ready. When i clicked the link there were no images. I contacted them multiple times all week and they kept telling me they sent my photos to shutterfly. I spent hours with ********** who kept sending me back to Jcpenny portraits. I could not use those digital images on ******* my son's birthday. Waisted hours at the studio, wasted hours trying to call Jcpenny all week long. Finally on Dec 2nd i called them again and the lady on the phone had the nerve to say in a frustrated tone that she had customers who have been waiting for hours to attend to and that she could not call customer service to get my photos. The nerve of this company. You all need to do better. This has been a horrible experience and a nightmare. I never got to share my son's first birthday picture with family and friends on his actual birthday. The hours wasted at your studio with a 7yr old and my 11mth old for 3hrs was all for what. I didnt have any photos that were professionally done even though ** payed for them a week ago. I am so highly disappointed with this place.
