  I'm confused with these people. I really am. Both of my parents created annuities with this group, both of my parents are now deceased, my dad being the last in March of this year. I've electronically sent over all of their forms and requested information so that I would be able to refer to it should I have to. Had to resend a voided check, that was fine, did it since I had just opened that account and the first was handwritten. No problem. Got a letter within the last 10 days that I needed to send in the correct forms...referred back to my electronically submitted forms. Saw no difference, but resent anyway. Today I went to create an online account. and did so. Went to login and up flashed I couldn't have access right now. Called....the CSR literally told me that I would never have online access because I wasn't the owner of the annunities. Thinking she didn't understand my southern dialect I politely explained it all to her. She still said I wouldn't ever have online access to these accounts. I would get 'letters' in reference to these aaccounts. Basically, there could be $800,000.000 and I'd never be able to see a thing. These folks are a bit sketchy to me and plan on speaking to my FA about doing something different. I mean, I like to actually see my money and the accounts. Anybody else have this complaint?

  The people charged with processing claims are incompetent and continually spout nonsense to deny claim . The entire Tunnel family has been done a disservice since my mothers passing trying collect what is due them. A lack of training is evident, one such example is claiming you didn't choose how tax to withhold when form w4r clearly states a standard withholding by default . Second claims denied saying we used the wrong w4. Just to name a few......deny and delay.

  If I could rate Allianz Life Insurance below a 1, I would most certainly do so. Advised to do so, I purchased an annuity with Allianz and immediately began to lose principal. The suggestion that I could capture a point in time and current value that could never loose additional value was not an accurate promise. The program hides behind multiple explanations for reducing your investment. I blame myself for trusting and not investigating, but companies like this one, as you can see from the many reviews, are not a place to trust your investment. Run away from this company. Not trustworthy. Hidden behind my account was a Market Value Adjustment (when I asked to end the annuity) which further reduced my payout. I have never written a negative review before and hope not to in the future, but this one is well deserved.

  This company is difficult to speak to. My father passed away and couldn't talk with anyone about the benefits. We then had attorney and resent information. It's been months and we still didn't receive our money. Really bad communication. Always getting someone on the phone from another country and was always told they couldn't talk to us. They are the worst company if you want to use them for annuity. Stay away!

  Allianz LTC are crooks and have no concern for the clients that pay into these policies over 20 years. My mom has been out of the post surgery rehab for weeks now and we still do not have a caregiver in place because: 1. Allianz processes are not transparent, take way too much time to process things, and do not have a way to easily submit and pay for claims. 2. They have too many stipulations in their policies, which also cause hurdles. 3. They expect that we would pay out of pocket in advance to a caregiver and get reimbursed. Why would we have the policy if we could afford to pay out of pocket. So it appears that my mom will possibly pass into the next life before we actually get a caregiver in place. Absolutely unacceptable. Definitely taught me to NOT get LTC insurance as it is pointless and simply allows a company to get rich while their clients are not getting ANY help.

  After having been shot down by their contracted financial advisor back on Sept 5, 2024 from a BIG misunderstanding w/o resolving it, I reached out to Gary R., Allianz Sr Compliance Specialist, (contracted with prior financial advisor), as he didn't do much for me when he mislead me as to finding me another financial advisor and accused me for stirring it when I was trying to fix the issue but their folks instigated it initially w/o proper clarification what was really going on there so I filed a complaint through them and was put in a formal letter to Jasmine J (CEO) that I felt this team from Allianz's is just as 'shady' as prior financial advisor, Freedom Revolution Dream Team, is the reason I got my money out in time before the final deadline as John F. (ex Army) seem to gladly talked me out of it from keeping me to grow my last contract (recently cashed in high amount) with them due to them not being able to carry an honest business with their clients, especially to a retired disabled veteran. I'm not surprised with these negative reviews I was experiencing possibly is the same way they've been doing to other clients because they are a BIG company money making that these other reviewers were dealing are having almost and if not same issues as I. I don't know how this Allianz is able to pull this off to people and still be around with so many complaints made on them here and on another site. Maybe it's the word 'greed' in their vocabulary. If I was them, I'd be more worry of my reviews than getting money from people and try to do the right thing for their clients.

  I work with Allianz consistently and have never seen that big of an issue with having claims paid out or surrendering a policy. Usually surrenders are processed within about 2 days. As another comment said, maybe trying to do things directly with Allianz is where the miscommunication and struggles lie. The agent that sold you the policy should be able to handle these things accurately and quickly.

  Policy owner since 1992 with ******** *****. Effective 5/31/93 it was consolidated with Allianz which has been a nightmare!! When I changed banks where auto withdrawal for premium payments happened, I notified Allianz with new bank information as requested and plenty of time for easy transition. Since 10/2023 I have had to make at least 20 phone calls to straighten out errors in automatic payments. Finally, elected to pay by paper check thinking thus would solve problem. Well, after making 2 payments,4/9/24 & 4/11/24, checks haven’t cleared and another bill threatening cancellation was received 4/17/24. Worse company to do business with. I anticipate my family having more problems collecting my insurance upon my death. Do not do business with Allianz

  Do not use this company if you purchase tickets through ticketmaster they do not want to refund your money at all this place is a scam. The concert was canceled and we wanted our money back and they refused to issue...DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

  I have Alliaz's Annuities in the past 25 years, I think some of the people who are having hard time with it, is because they somehow lost the person who sold them their policies. I used my broker anytime I need to work with my policies and had no issues as of this moment Don't know much about Long Term Care with this company
