This is additional information for file number5398462.I purchased an 2014 Audi Q5 on 9/12/2023.I completed a used car inspection and the vehicle checked out with no issues.Within the first 2 weeks the minimum oi light came on and I took my car to Midas to tell them about the issue. They informed me that Audi may need a top off in between oil changes. At that time I discussed bringing my car back to get an oil change to be able to keep track of oil changes and getting an oil change right away when I buy a used car is something that I have always done. I took my car to the Audi dealer ship and they confirmed what ***** told me and topped the oil off. I did not have any other problems with the oil. On October 5 I brought my car in for an oil change. Within a week the minimum oil light came on again and I called Midas and asked them why I would need to add oil within a week of changing the oil. At that time I noticed that the mileage to come back for an oil change said 176, 000 miles which seemed like a lot of miles for a car that has ****** miles. I wondered if they confused my car with another car was that was there and maybe put the wrong oil or something, because they also entered the mileage as 169, 930 as the mileage that my car was at when I brought it in which was ****** more than my car. ***** again told me that it was common for an Audi to need an oil top off. I went to Audi to get the top off and asked them about how often would I need to top off the oil and I was told a week after an oil change was to soon and to monitor how much I'm topping it off. Within in a week of that the minimum oil light came on again and I called Midas to let them know again what had happened they again told me I should check with Audi. I responded that within a week of an oil change no car should need an oil top off and Midas insisted that it was something normal for an Audi. Within a month of getting the oil change I found out I need a new engine.
