    I am writing to lodge a formal complaint regarding a refund dispute related to broken dentures that has not been resolved satisfactorily by the company in question. My name is *******************************, and I am reaching out to seek assistance in facilitating a resolution to this matter.In summary, I was in contact with a representative named Virginia from [Company Name] regarding a set of broken dentures that I had purchased. ******** instructed me to return the defective product and assured me that I would receive a refund for the purchase price. Despite complying with these instructions and returning the dentures as requested, I have not received the promised refund.Multiple attempts to contact ******** have been unsuccessful, as she is no longer responding to my calls or voicemails. This lack of communication has left me in a frustrating situation where I have not received the refund that I am rightfully owed.I believe that the company's failure to honor their commitment to refund the purchase price for the broken dentures constitutes a breach of consumer rights and an unacceptable business practice. I have attempted to resolve this matter directly with the company to no avail, and I am now seeking the intervention of the Better Business Bureau to assist in reaching a fair and timely resolution.I request that the BBB investigate this matter and work with the company to ensure that I receive the refund that is owed to me promptly. Your assistance in this regard would be greatly appreciated, as I am hopeful that with your intervention, we can bring this issue to a satisfactory conclusion.I have attached relevant documentation, including proof of purchase and communication with the company, for your review and reference.     RE: Affordable Dentures & Implants, Maplewood. Paid for lower partial & extra for a wax try in. Very bad experience: the assistant wouldn't let me look at it w/a light on & kept telling me it would melt. Also, forced to sign a waiver of items that I was never informed about -- at all.Continuously received conflicting info from front desk scheduler, ******** & the female dental assistant at Maplewood when I would ask questions. They both continually told me conflicting info that led to a no-win combative environment. The Dentist got involved & tried to resolve it by making adjustments & eventually had to create a new wax try in.When I went back they had a temp working - a male, dental assistant. he was incredibly professional but had to make a new casting to completely remake a new wax model that I would need to come back and try in - incredible how different that experience was. I came back & was told Maplewood was closing, so I would need to go to W. St **** for the final & adjustments. This time when I signed the waiver I added a lot of notes; when I did that the female, dental assistant said they will address any corrections at the tryin & make adjustments there, not during the wax tryin. I signed the waiver w/my notes.The scheduler ********, also moved to W St ****. When I went to get my adjustment, I was met with the same overstepping treatment by the dental assistant. She told me if I wanted the adjustment I was asking for she would do it, but cancel the warranty -- unacceptable to force a client to accept this as a resolution. She was a bully & this is also my past experience of her. She also told me that they are not the office that made the denture. The point?She was so combative, I said I would try it for a bit & come back another day. I cannot wear it. I talked to ******** today to reschedule, she told me they don't make those types of adjustments. Then who does? I have an upcoming appt. on 8/4/23. My expectation it to adjust it correctly to fit.

    I first saw ************* in ********, **. He won my trust. I was scheduled for extractions of my teeth and implants when I found out he had bought St.****. I followed him there and my surgery took place December of 2021. I received my permanent teeth in Spring of 2022 and it has been a nightmare since. From the beginning I told his assistant one of my implants hurt and wasnt right also the teeth did not fit right, each time I went in and it was multiple times **** made me feel like I was the problem and nothing was wrong. I finally got a 2nd opinion from an outside dentist who said to go back to them and have the dentures remade and implant replaced. I left a message for ************* and he was quick to reply and very apologetic. He did replace my implant I believe fall of 2022 and said they would make me a new set. I went in for a chair side appointment so they could do some custom fittings June 20th, 2023. This was supposed to be an hour long appointment after 2.5 hrs **** his assistant got frustrated and said shes done everything and she was just going to refund my money. SlShe was upset because the dentures did not fit and I kept telling her they were rubbing on my gums I could not talk right and they did not sit in my mouth properly. I signed their paper and left. I spent over 13k with implants and I am being refunded $2900 and left with a ruined mouth. I was told by one dentist they cannot work with the implants from affordable dentures because they use their own line. I dont where I can get proper fitting teeth. I am completely devastated and dont know what to do. I felt like I had to accept the refund and left in tears. Im not trying to be a difficult patient, I have been at this for over 1.5 yrs and I still dont have proper fitting teeth. My gums are swollen and bleeding today from the new set they made me and the old set has a tooth that broke housing showing through. I need my teeth fixed. If needed I can take pictures of my mouth if needed.
