I was in the hospital after bleeding for over 3 weeks. On the night before admission, I had lost so much blood I could barely walk, think, breathe. The Triage nurse took my vitals and they were incredibly low. I don't have the exact numbers but I remember my heart rate was better 38 to 40. I was there for hours getting every test done including an ECG that had disturbing narative than was only finalized until after my discharge. I have had to bend over backwards to get someone on the line to read me the results of the ECG whom said the doctor read the ECG and thought it was fine and published it after discharge. The narrative suggested many abnormalities that were not discussed with me. The only vitals on record are the ones from discharge. Not from triage or the hours I was there watching my vitals drop very low with a consistent heart rate of 38-40. None of this was noted in my chart. They simply confirmed there was bleeding and concluded it was due to a blood thinner I am for multiple blood clots. They gave my 10 pills referred me to follow up PCP, who refused to see me as he was not comfortable with prescribing progesterone or dealing with women's health issues. There is no record of the worst night/morning of my life due to pure lack charting the facts. Or giving me appointments and ample medication to ensure proper follow up care.
