    I joined Homes for Heroes to try and help heroes in my community & see if it would help grow my business. All the leads they sent me were no where close to my service area. My success representative changed 3 times in a year and ultimately I saw no success from this program. I decided not to renew. Apparently everyone who signs up is on auto **************************** charged me for a yearly renewal and refused to refund the full amount. Doesnt seem like a good way of doing business & very unprofessional.

    I echo my fellow professionals, I implored HFH immediately to refund the $500 I paid when I found that all that got was, well, nothing, no territory, no leads, no support, not even a Facebook link. I did all the onboarding training however they don’t tell you none of it applies to your “tier”. I was told my account manager would be in touch immediately and that person (actually 3) wasn’t interested in helping only the canned “copy and paste” reply which is what I’m sure will be what we get to this… If I wanted anything that remotely resembled real lead generation I was welcome to upgrade an additional $100 a month. I was dismissed and told they would be happy to cancel when my renewal came up next year. I am out $500 and I am very angry.

    Homes for Heroes will have given 50,000 heroes their Hero Rewards by our upcoming 20th anniversary, and we have a 92% five-star rating from our heroes served. We are passionate about thanking every hero, and we are sorry to hear that this affiliated agent is not satisfied with her Homes for Heroes membership. We explain the different Tier options upfront in the presentation of the program before an agent joins; there is a slide that expressly defines each Tier, what is included, and the price. Then the Tiers are laid out again in the Affiliate Agreement, in the first section, that the agent reviews and signs before joining. The Tiers are also covered in the initial onboarding training. Once an agent joins and accesses our online materials, we do want to ensure that the annual commitment is met, especially given the longer timeline for real estate connections and closings, so that heroes have that consistency in service. We are confused as to why this agent felt that the Tiers were unclear, but we will reach out to the agent to try to resolve any specific concerns directly.

    While this is exactly the response I expected, I have copies of every text asking about this or that and told I could not access that in my tier, someone would “reach out”…no one did until I set up my zoom meeting and was told I should have read the agreement, but someone would “ reach out” . I went back and forth with Rachel who became my manager at the 11th hour and my $500 membership didn’t even merit a phone call, simply a couple of emails stating she “certainly understands and will cancel my renewal when it comes up NEXT year! By the way…the Tiers are quite glossed over, they really don’t want to tell you ,you are giving them money for nothing!
