      I signed up for a years subscription for Mon-Sunday delivery. I received no paper. I called several times and was told it would be fixed. When I asked to speak to a supervisor I was told that was not an option and abruptly hung up on! I called and spoke to another customer service rep to complain not only about my service but now the woman who hung up on me. I then discovered I was not only hung up on but she canceled my subscription! I never asked for this. I just wanted my paper! I was told someone would call me back. Obviously that did not happen! I wish I would have read the reviews. Don't sell something you can't produce! Sounds like fraud to me!!! I hope I get my money back without issue. I'm not even interested in receiving anymore! Absolutely horrible!!!!

      My 93 year old mother, who loves alone, has requested that her paper be delivered to her garage door so she can open the door and grab it. This is not being done. We have contacted The Star Tribute numerous times both by email and contacting an actual person. Our request have been unfulfilled. Yesterday, my mother fell when going out to retrieve the paper. This is what we were trying to prevent. We need to respect the care and needs of people. Not everyone what's to read their news on line.

      I do not believe the carrier is trying. It's as easy as pulling into her driveway and tossing it near the door

      If I could give lower I would. Started free trial for digital news, cancelled before free trial was done, was still charged $49.95. Called to complain the day of the charge. They said it would be refunded and would not go past “pending”. It is 3 days later and am disputing through the bank and have to get a whole new debit card. Terrible service.

      A 50+ year subscriber. Paying for home not curb delivery. Previous carrier always got the paper to garage door. This new one leaves it at the curb. We have down sloping driveway that can be icy or filled with plowrow - very unsafe for older adults. This person has permission to go up the driveway to get paper to house. Called customer service AGAIN (at least once a week) with no results. Told rep he had 2 chances to improve. This morning at curb. May not do weekends, so if at curb on monday, i am canceling our subscription that day. Really good way to keep readership Star Tribune.

      Thank you for your loyal readership over the years! Our carriers make every effort to respond to customers' placement requests while still completing their routes in a timely fashion. Due to current employment market realities, we have fewer people delivering longer routes than ever before - often necessitating a throw and go approach to meet delivery deadlines. These changes in print home delivery are being experienced by all newspapers throughout the nation. I have asked our distributor serving your neighborhood to do all that is possible to accommodate your delivery preference to the garage door. I have also added 1 week of free service to your account we do appreciate your readership.

      My Grandpa has been receiving the paper for years, as of the last 5+ years he is disabled. Since February 2023 he cannot get a consistent door step delivery even though he has said multiple times that he is disabled and needs the paper delivered to the door. He attempted to call today to report the paper was at the end of the driveway again and his phone number is blocked from contacting StarTribune.

      We ask our independent agents and their news carriers to honor delivery location requests to the extent possible. Most carriers do a terrific job in this regard. Due to changes in print readership over the years, we have fewer carriers delivering longer routes than ever before. Although we cannot assure that all delivery placement requests can be met, we do our best to accommodate.

      The StarTribune has not been delivering the paper due to construction even though we have explained to just go to the back of the building. You can’t speak to a manager. No one ever calls back or emails back. Worst customer service!!! If I could give 0 stars I would!

      For the last 7 weekends, (14 complaints lodged with their customer service, both telephone and online) the carrier has thrown the paper in the driveway, where several days it was wet and unreadable. My wife is handicapped and cannot pick up the paper and they are required to put it in the paper tube on the mailbox. the has been a recurrent problem over the 30 or so years we've lived here, but this is the worst lack of action ever. I was forced to give one star, but I would have given no stars. Phone complaints are met with "I will escalate your complaint to management" yet nothing ever happens. Just like nothing will happen with this review. I would urge anyone not to subscribe to this paper. If their customer service is this bad, what is the quality of their reporting?

      Nothing has changed. Lots of email rhetoric, but the paper is still in the driveway 6' away from the paper tube for the 9the week in a row.

      I was forced to leave at least one star but my rating is actually no stars. The delivery has become untenable. I do call or submit electronically as often as I have problems, which is usually a couple of times a week, but I cannot spend that much time on this. The paper is late, wrong paper is delivered, missed completely. Often when we get a delivery, it is left in our condo lobby and we have to retrieve it. We have always subscribed to the paper, are big supporters of the Star Tribune, raised our children to read the paper version because you get so much more out of it. Do you no longer want delivery customers?
