My experience is almost exactly the same as Shae’s. NO communication. I signed on one year ago. I’ve called 6 times and left 2 emails. I do not have any idea what’s going on with my project. They were supposed to be working with State Farm to get the whole roof approved. State Farm dropped me last June so they did something on my behalf. I cannot get a response from them!!!!!!!

I signed a master agreement with Elysian July 2022 for hail damage on my house and garage roof. I was told they had to deal with insurance to get the whole roof approved because they wouldn’t do partial roof. Communication was bad from the start. I didn’t get any updates until May 2023. Almost a whole year later. They were going to do the house roof but wait on the garage roof because it had to be built. I didn’t hear from them for 2 months. They called randomly and said they’d be starting that weekend in July 2023. The building crew was quick and cleaned up my yard nice. That was probably the only positive thing about this experience. I assumed the garage roof would be done before winter but I never heard anything from them. I finally got a call May 2024 that they’d be starting the garage roof. They put what I think is a building permit on my door and a project manager said he’d be getting the material list ready. Again I didn’t hear from them for months this time. August I get the same phone call saying they need to hang a permit and get a material list ready. I’m mind blown because this person calling had no clue that they’ve already called me trying to set up the same process. Now a month later I haven’t gotten any updates. I called customer service to get out of the agreement because obviously there’s a huge lack of communication between the crew. It will cost me $1500 to back out of the agreement. I can’t find any fine print on the master agreement with the timeframes they have to finish the work by. But at this point I have been waiting 2 years to get this work completed. I’m at a loss. Please save yourself the trouble and choose a different company.

They called me after the hail storm we had in may. Set up an appt they check out my room then I made the mistake of sign the master agreement with out reading it. Definitely I will be reading more after this. Then they came to give me a “estimate” and they didn’t have anything the guy that came over didn’t know how to answer out question that were asked. So I didn’t want to work with them after that. 2 weeks later they text back and I told them I wasn’t going to work with them then now they are saying I am in charge of 15 % if not they will place a lien on my house. And they are threatening to sue me if I don’t pay them. So it’s the beginning of q nightmare.

WARNING: This Company is a Nightmare! Wow, just wow. Buckle up, because you're going to want to read this horror story. I first met with Josh ****** when he knocked on my door, pushing for a roof inspection. After a long conversation, he managed to build my trust, and I made the mistake of signing a contract on July 28th, 2023. Big mistake. After a month of radio silence, I called in September to discuss next steps. No response. I called again in October. Same result. One more attempt in November. Nothing. I assumed the company had gone under. Fast forward to the end of February. Frustrated and fed up, I found a new roofing company and signed a contract with them. They’ve been stellar, in constant communication (message me if you want their name). Then, out of nowhere, in April, I get a call from Josh, finally ready to move forward. I told him I no longer needed his services. What followed was shocking. Josh exploded, yelling and cussing at me, calling me a horrible person and threatening a $1,500 cancellation fee lien on my house. He hung up on me after his tirade. In disbelief, I reached out to my lawyer friend. After another month of silence, Josh contacted my lawyer, cussing him out and reiterating his threat to put a lien on my house. I still don’t have a resolution, but I sure as hell don’t feel obligated to work with a company that ignored me for over 10 months. And the idea that yelling and threats would convince me to work with them? Laughable. I rarely write bad reviews, but this has been the most unprofessional, infuriating experience I've ever had with any company. If Josh ****** or Elysian Construction comes knocking, slam the door in their face and RUN. Don't look back.

Never supplied a build sheet, layout sheet and anything. Needed 2 extensions from insurance company and I started to look for another company due to it appeared they may not meet the deadline of 3 months based off extensions. Threading legal action based off them loosing an insurance pay out and to top it off they won’t honor any warranties. Stay away horrible company and when you speak to them they say the don’t care they have enough customers.

The worst company what a nightmare, save yourself all the consternation and go with a reputable local company.

We had our roofs (house and garage) replaced in 2023 and our windows replaced in 2023/2024. Our experiences with Elysian as follow: * Douglas *********field rep, was very nice, friendly and helpful * Chuck-the "windows Specialist", also knowledgeable, pleasant and has great communication * Sarah ****- one of the "Bosses", was a very responsive, understanding and so easy to work with. During the construction periods, I have had some concerns about certain employee who I thought doesn't represent the company well and I brought up the issues with Sarah-she didn't shy away from acknowledging the short-falls. She took care of the issues. Overall, I personally had positive experiences with the company. They are friendly, professional, and helpful. Without a doubt, I would use them again

Great company to work with, timely/efficient, does a great job with a smooth process

Awful company. Tried to charge me for work they didn't do. Overcharged the cost of shingles by almost triple! Threatened me and harassed me daily when I questioned their billing practices. NEVER agree to "pay them 100% insurance proceeds". It's a scam.
