I had 3 windows installed to day and I am very pleased with the construction and the installation by the crew. They were fast efficient and neat and cleaned up after themselves. They were able to answer any question I had about the windows or installation. They were outstanding!!!!!!

4 starsOverall very satisfied with MEI on our siding and windows. Brandon was excellent in the initial bid process and modelling. He was also super responsive during and after project with our many questions. House looks wonderful and glad we did it with MEI. Only downside is during project we felt we needed to keep an eye on the work and quality in process. And urgently get with MEI as work was done. They did work and proceed very well and quickly. We felt lots of niggling details needed oversight and attention. Which MEI responded to well and fast when we pointed stuff out. Just felt that MEI supervisors should have been ahead of those kind of things rather than us. So would give a 4.5 as the true rating. And again overall would recommend Brandon and MEI.Review fromRalph H

5 starsStone and his team at MEI did a terrific job with my replacement front entry door and sidelights. Their pricing was very fair and he explained the tradeoffs between various quality and price levels. The installers were also very professional, inviting me to look at their work as they went—-describing what they were doing as it progressed. I needed a roof because our insurance company was refusing to insure our home unless we replaced it. We were in a panic due to time constraints and finances. Brandon at MEI gave me the best quote I was able to find by far and fit me into their schedule ASAP. Don’t look around if you need a new roof, siding, etc. Just choose MEI and you won’t regret it.Minnesota Exteriors, Inc.

1 starOverall, my experience with MEI was terrible. At the time of signing (May) for new windows, we were told the estimated time until installation would be two months. I didn’t hear from anyone at MEI and started to check in with our sales rep late June - early July. We were told the trim was back ordered. It wasn’t a big deal at the time as we knew construction projects were commonly delayed. Any updates on timing were always initiated by me and I was reaching out to our sales rep and never getting clear information and always told it would be in soon. I was told by our sales rep that as soon as our trim got in, we would be marked as rush (not in mid-August). After still not having anything more concrete, I got in contact with a project manager at MEI and she started looking into it. She also mentioned she did know what labeling the project as ‘rush’ was so likely a lie. We were finally told our trim would be in late August but that projects were backed up for staining. When asked if all the projects ahead of us had contracts signed before us, no one could confirm that. Time went by and nothint was happening and I started looking for a senior level person to contact at MEI. I eventually got in touch with who I believe is the CEO, or an upper lever leader; and while he seemed sympathetic at first, it took a few follow ups STILL to get anything going. We FINALLY got our windows installed Oct. 16/17 (almost three times the length we were quoted). While I thought that would wrap it all up, there was one small thing that MEI needed to touch up based on the city inspection and after two weeks of hearing nothing, I once again had to email the leader (no response on that matter) and the project leader to get someone to come out and fix it. Based on this, I asked for a discount due to the terrible experience and was offered a measly 5% discount, which I politely declined as it felt demeaning. I will never use MEI again nor would I recommend them to friends and family.Review fromJennifer H

1 starMN Exteriors has been replacing the siding for my HOA. They have left holes inside my house from the exterior. I have left messages and have not received a response. Now, since it is raining and the gutters are gone, I have rain coming in from my window trim. They don't even have the supplies here and have taken down my gutters. My wife and I met with Gary ******* of MEI this past summer. We were very impressed with his knowledge of windows, the different brands, and options available to us. We decided to go with MEI after meeting with Gary and not having the same experience with other companies. This week the windows were installed by the Team of Zach, Charlie, and Mike. These three gentlemen hit it out of the park with their skill sets, speed and professionalism on the job site. I would highly recommend this organization to anyone without pause.
