    We have had all sorts of issues, since we moved into our ************* new construction home. Our water valve at the main line in the road was never turned on, so our water heater fried when they turned it on. Out Air Conditioner was never connected to a power supply. both of these items were fixed quickly only because of an ex employee who actually cared about the people that bought their houses. The reason I am filing this complaint started with water pouring down our garage wall from a roof leak on the day we moved in. They eventually came out to fix this issue after many reminders. Our garage started leaking in a second place about a year later, same thing, after many calls/emails, they finally came out to fix. The third leak happened this fall. The roofing company came out and hopefully resolved the issue. In doing so, they had to take off some siding and flashing to finish their work. They told me they would contact the builder and have someone out soon to fix the siding. We are now 5 months later and I cant get a response from *************. I have left voicemails and called no less than 10 times. I tried filling out an online form, to see if maybe I could get a response from that, nope. The couple times that someone actually answered the phone, they just told me that they would reach out to another person and get back to me. Never heard anything back. Just said they couldnt do anything because of the cold. Its been 30+ degrees for basically our entire winter. The loose siding whips and bangs on our house when it is windy. We also have water running down behind the ripped off siding onto our exposed sheathing every time it rains or snow melts. I was always patient and understanding of all of our other issues and timing, but I have had enough after getting zero contact back on this one for months.

    We do apologize for the frustration, we have replaced our siding contractor that we believe caused the leaking behind the siding with a new contractor.  It has been a huge challenge to source the steel siding products that were used on your home.   We are working on this and are expecting to have a solution and completion within two weeks, hopefully sooner. We again apologize for this delay.

    We had a second roof leak above our garage. This happened earlier this year in January/February of 2023. ************* stated they would be out to fix the roof when the snow melted and warmer weather. Here we are July 11, 2023 and have not heard ONE word from ************* on when they are coming to fix the issue. Several emails and phone calls into them and have not gotten one response back.

    I believe there was a timing issue on the complaint as the Roofer has completed his inspection of the roofing at this home. With the amount of snow ** got this past winter and with the snow/thaw/snow thaw that went on ice dams were a problem.  They believe this is the problem and have discussed with the customer how to manage the ice dams.

     I am rejecting this response because:

    There was no timing issue.  ************* knew about this for half the year and told us they would be out after the snow melted and suddenly I send a complaint to the BBB and within a day its funny how we all of the sudden get a response back from *************, who I have been emailing for the last month and the roofers came out to fix the issue.  The roofers I give a big thanks to for working with us to get things fixed.  Still not impressed by SW Wolds customer service and never will be.

    ******, I am sorry you are disappointed, we had given the roofer your name and phone number and assumed he was calling you to schedule, this was an error on our part. At the time of your complaint the Roofer was already planning his arrival.   Our apologies for the miscommunication.  I am happy to hear you are pleased with the roofers completion.  Sincerely, ***************
