- Government Actions:Government Action: BBB reports on known government actions involving business’ marketplace conduct:Minnesota Department of Labor & Industry Consent Order
On February 19, 2025, the business entered into a Consent Order with the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry (DLI). The Consent Order settles allegations that the business violated Minn. Stat. 326B.082, subd. 11 (b)(1)(10); 326B.805, subd. 5 (c) and 326B.84 (1)(15)(2022). Under terms of the Order, the business agreed to promptly respond to DLI requests for information; pat the remaining $5,111,11 for prior inspections and reviews completed by DLI; notify DLI in writing if they are found to be a judgement debtor within 15 days and if they have a civil judgement related to their residential contracting work, they will satisfy or appeal the judgement within 30 days. The business also agreed to comply with payment agreements for the Red Lake County District Court Cases and if they fail to abide by the agreements, their residential building contractors license and manufactured home dealer license will be suspended until the judgements are paid. The business further agreed to notify DLI if they file for bankruptcy within 15 days of the filing.
The business will also pay $2,500.00 of a $7,500.00 fine, with the balance stayed on the condition that they fully comply with the terms of the Order and have no future violations of any laws, rules or orders under DLI authority.
