  I called two hours prior to arriving to look at a car and they told me the car was available when I got there. The car hadjust sold. They said when I asked to look at another car, they put their code on one outside and told me to come back on Monday And went back in to the building. Poor customer service I would never recommend this place appeared very shady.

  We are sorry to hear that the vehicle you were interested in was sold, our policy first comes first serve. With that being said you might be right that when you called the vehicle was available but that still does not change the fact that the vehicle was sold upon your arrival. We cannot hold a vehicle for any customer without a deposit. Once again, we are sorry to hear that the vehicle you were interested in was sold but we defiantly have more options for all of our customers to choose from. Finally, that does not mean we have a poor customer service or us being shady if the business we are in is to sale vehicles and make a living.

  The salesman are very rude. All the comments are correct. They will not allow a test drive unless you agree ahead of the drive you will buy their vehicle that day. The owner said they do not have time for people to come drive cars for fun. I dont spend $10,000 or more without driving a couple vehicles Im interested in, for comparison of best purchase. I also have always asked dealers if its ok I take vehicle Im serious about to my mechanic for a check over. Owner became very rude and said other dealers will not agree. He does not know what he is talking about, because I took my other trucks I have bought from small dealers to my mechanic, no problem if you have nothing to hide! He said no, bring your mechanic here! He was incredibly unprofessional. Stay away from this dealer!

  All customers are more than welcome to test drive any vehicle they are interested in, with that being said once everything checks out on the vehicle we would like the customer to purchase the same day. Second, any customer has the right to bring their own mechanic to check over the vehicle. Third, every business has their own type of policy and that is our policy.

  If I could give negative stars, I would. They falsely advertise that you can test drive their vehicles. Their ******** bio says, Have you Driven Our cars Lately? If Not, Come Drive One Today! I messaged them expressing my interest in a Rav 4 as well as some other Toyotas. I told them I live 2 hours away, and asked if I could come look at the vehicles on the following Saturday. They responded Sure you can. Myself, my mom, and 7 year old daughter made the trip. We found the Rav 4 and asked to test drive it. They had to jump the battery before starting the vehicle. When we returned to the shop, he told me to follow him into the office to finish the paper work. I told him that I wanted to think about it and call my brother to get a second opinion. He became short and rude with me, pointing to a small, faded sign that said Our policy for test drive is Only if the customer Purchasing the vehicle Same day. He asked me why I didnt want to buy the car, and told me it was a very good car. I told him again that I just wanted to talk it over with my brother before making a final decision. He asked me why, so I asked him why the battery needed to be charged before the car could be started. He became extremely defensive and angry, yelling that any car that sits for 10 days without being driven needs to be jumped, and that there was nothing wrong with the car. He continued to raise his voice and told me I didnt know anything about cars. He continued to yell at me about how I wasted his time. At this point, my young daughter began to cry and pull my arm towards the door. She cried all the way back to our car about how mean he was and that she was scared. These people are nothing but bullies and their business is nothing but a scam. Im just glad I didnt let him bully me into buying because, after reading other reviews, it looks like theyve scammed so many people into losing thousands of dollars.

  Hello *******,You guys stopped by to check out the 2002 ****** RAV-4. We had no problem with you guys test driving the car in the city and highway and yes you are right the only thing is the battery was dead but we told you that because we haven't started the vehicle for a week or so the battery could die and we also told you that we will put a new a battery in the car and you agreed. Second, after we came back from the test drive where the drive was smooth like how it should be for the year of the car, mileage and the price we are asking. Third, we never said anything to the kid because we are professionals and have kids of our own for us to be picking on kids so please be honest and tell the truth. Finally, your brother called and we explained to him everything that happened and he honestly agreed with us and told us " I'm sorry because she doesn't know much about cars". Thank You.

  I've got a story! I just purchased a vehicle from them for my daughter after seeing a few so-so in our price range. I did get to sit in the vehicle we liked and turned the engine on and looked under the hood. All seemed okay BUT not even 2 hours later the vehicle completely stopped. As in we were on the side of the road! We got it started again but the headlights did not work. AT ALL. I gave them a call 3 times. I got to leave a message once and the other calls I was hung up on. Worse experience ever, DO NOT purchase a vehicle from them!

  The owner makes people feel unwanted , and he forces people to pay for the vehicle before even test driving it. He makes others feel threatened by his way of conducting business with customers

However, we have never forced customers to purchase the vehicle because at the end of the day we are all adults.   When I asked to drive a car the older gentleman of the group got mad at me raised his voice and told me to sit down and sign the paperwork first then I could test drive it after I owned it. I was very scared at one point and got out there asap.

  I just purchased a vehicle from them this week. This is my second time dealing with them. I think they are very straight forward and professional. They did not offer warranties on either vehicles that I purchased and were very clear about that. I think that their reasonable prices reflect that. Thank you Star Auto. PB

  *** is the biggest liar and scammer there is he was paid to transfer a title over a year ago still haven't got the title and he wont give me my old title back

  DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM STAR AUTO SALES LLC!! Cars are bought at auction, they are not put through any diagnostic testing to ensure they are in sellable condition. The customer service is horrible 90% of the time and that's being nice. Unless you pretty much guarantee them that you are going to buy the vehicle, they aren't going to show you it. The website lists inaccurate and down right false information about the vehicles. The vehicles are purchased at auction, how can they know so much about the vehicles? I purchased a vehicle for $10,000 from them in mid December. 2 1/2 months later and approximately ****k miles driven, the vehicle is undriveable. The check engine light came on, a bad sensor light came on, the vehicle started shaking and it lost power. After having the vehicle checked out by a mechanic we were told the vehicle has been burning an insane amount of oil for a long time. Due to this issue there has been permanent damage caused to the engine. Cheapest fix to just get it running was $3,500, other option was to replace the entire engine which would cost $5,500. When we contacted Star Auto Sales in regards to this they said they were not going to help in any way and said they don't care if you pursue legal action against them. This dealership may have more used vehicles than any other dealership you will find in and around this area, which is why I went there, but TRUST me, if you want your moneys worth, do not enjoy being screwed over and want to avoid a huge headache, DO NOT BUY FROM STAR AUTO SALES LLC!P.S. I wrote this review to hopefully save as many people as possible from making the same mistake that we did. I would have given it 0 stars if it would have let me.

  This place is horrible, I bought a car 2 months ago for 10k. It was driven 150 over the last 2 months and the transmission failed. In the dealership it also has issues with rear shocks, an O2 sensor and a cracked valve cover. Star claimed that the vehicle was good. When I called them to discuss the problem they hung up on me. Dont buy from them they are crooked!!!

  Hello, Jan *** said it yourself ********* had the car for 2 months and on top of that when you came back to pick up the plates 15 days after the purchase, you told us that you loved the car and its ************* and everything. Also you gave us a call yesterday and you said you have never drove it ever since you got it. So with all due respect we dont know whats the truth anymore or not. Because of the stories that you are making up sir. ******** you inspected the vehicle and test drove the car before purchasing it Thank ***!
