I purchase a ***** gx270 motor from northern tools **********************************************************. The motor delivered a week later, only to find out the motor i requested was not right motor i ordered. The salesman ordered me the wrong motor. when i went to the store to tell him he ordered the wrong motor, I was told I could not return the motor. I called customer service about the problem and they did a request form to waive the shipping and stocking fees, so while I was on the phone with customer service I ordered the right motor I needed, two days later i received a email about the request saying that they wouldn't waive the shipping and stocking fee and i had to ship the motor back myself at my cost of $148.43 plus 15% restocking fee added as well, so I'm looking at paying even more for and item that the salesman order incorrectly. i purchased the item for $757.58 so with the added fees I'm guessing I'll only get back around $400.00 to $500.00,. hearing about this return policy i would have never ordered another motor from great northern equipment, sadly we go there often and only live 3 block's away for them. All of the because the northern tools salesman at the ********** location ordered the wrong motor for me. I should be getting the full refund, not paying more for there salesman's mistake.
