      Installed windows in the wrong color. Actually they are four different colors! Install found water damage and they tried to price gouge us through a third party remediation company. The fit and finish is poor, the paint job has to completely redone. The service department has a list of 20+ fixes including window replacement of brand new product. A complete disaster. All fixes are filed under the customer warranty prior to the job being complete. Shady!

      Sam and Grant were an amazing crew! Sam was very informative from start to finish. Explained issues I had that can create future issues with my new windows. Verified all my color choices, so everything would be to my satisfaction. When completed, he trained me on maintenance and even left me his personal number in case I needed further assistance. Without a doubt, they were the perfect representatives for the company. First class all the way and I would never go elsewhere for my window and door upgrades. Fantastic attitude and Sam even sings a few tunes when he works. Yes, he does enjoy his job as well as takes extra time to answer all questions and even took the time to verify satisfaction on previous work done by other crews.

      They never showed up for their appointment.......sent me phone numbers to call, i would call and leave messages. Thank goodness they didn't show up, they are horrible to try and work with.

      Extremely disappointed in their customer service. The amount shown as balance due on their project portal was incorrect. After installation I was told I owe $1,300 more. Threatened to put a lien on my home when it was their mistake. They knew about the issue with the portal for over a year, but did nothing about it. All other parts of the product were great, but I won’t do business with Andersen again because they do not own up to their mistakes.

      After receiving multiple phone calls and emails, I finally made an appointment for a sales consultation. The day before the rep was to come to the house, I received a call saying that they were canceling the appointment because they were certain that I would not want to invest that kind of money ($25,000) in my neighborhood. There are nothing but a bunch of white elitist b*******. By the way, I bought the house for $64,000 in 2013, and sold it for $168,000 in 2023.

      Worst experience with customer service ever! I had all the windows replaced in my home for a sizable amount of money and was assured with “Replacement by Anderson” the customer satisfaction is a priority. 2months after the installation of my windows, there was condensation and ice build up on the inside of the windows and they began to show signs of staining on the interior wood. I contact the company twice and both times they blamed me for the humidity being to high in the home. I had already been running the dehumidifier and the humidity reading was 30%. I was told by the service person that the humidity needed to be at 20%. There is no possible way to get the indoor humidity to 20%. Despite multiple attempts to get the moisture leaking problem solved, I have been “GHOSTED” by the company ??

      About seven years ago, I replaced all of the windows in my 100yr old home. All 65, double sash with matching trim inside and out. It was an impressive team, finishing ahead of schedule. Beautiful work. One year ago, I signed a contract to replace my backdoor, storm door and side lights. It was a hefty price, one I was willing to pay knowing the top quality of their product and installation team. There was a delay due to the custom order. Due in October. My joy was dashed the day they installed the doors. Someone measured incorrectly and the side window holes were filled with plywood. Reorder and another…6 weeks went by. The windows came, were installed and the inside trim was completed. The carpenter did not have the material to install the new base trim, to match the door and windows. “Someone would be in touch.” Two different painters came to finish the job. They were turned away because the install wasn’t finished. No one followed up. I called many times, speaking to several customer service people. They all said they’d get back to me. I have a large file on my project with all info of the project at Renewal. They were all pleasant and professional. I called my salesman…he was sympathetic too. Adding insult to injury, Renewal went ahead and charged my credit card for the balance due without my permission. I told them I would pay when the project was completed. I also told them I wanted a reduction in price of the project. It’s been more than a year since I started the project with my salesmen. I have tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. No more! This has been the worst experience I have ever had in the 30 years I’ve lived in my home. I respect work people. It’s NOT their fault. It’s Renewal’s responsibility. I have learned that you get what you pay for…just not this time and this project. I want the job completed asap. Please??

      At 32k for windows/door the craftsmanship of their product is a joke. Installation was a circus and still isn't correct. Promised a PVC trim and was given cedar instead. The first installer went ahead and installed the "rough" side of the trim facing out on 80% of them. I made the project manager come and sand them down. They're still rough and honestly it looks awful. The first install team left nails and a razorblade on the outside of my house, caulking was sloppy placed, and NO flashing at the top of the windows. It looks like they just wiped the excess caulking all over my siding. I was also told by another install crew that the crew leader of the first group was a drunk and known for sloppy work. The windows themselves don't match up. The outside trim pieces all have gaps and are cut at odd angles. There's gaps in the window seams. Two of our windows were leaking (this has been fixed). The screen door wasn't cut properly at the factory and had to be remade. We had to ask for additional foam to be sprayed to protect against the cold. Once the door was in, it wasn't installed correctly and let in a huge amount of air. The screen door doesn't line up and bugs have been getting in. Theyve been to my house 4 times and things are still not correct. They gloss over issues with pretty words and expect it to be fixed.
