IC Systems, **** is reporting a collection account against me erroneously to the detriment of my credit report. They are collecting for ********* and I have filed a complaint with you against ********* as well.Details:********* account #********* Date of service for ********* account: 7/1/2020 Date of cancellation with *********: 10/25/2023 Amount owed ********* by someone OTHER than me: $641.00 Address where ********* account was active: **************************************************************************** I have NEVER lived in ** and know no one who has lived there or lives there now. I have lived in ****** since **************************************** ********** in 2019, which was cancelled that year with no balance owing. Previous to living in ******, I lived in ********** since birth!I received the information about the delinquent ********* account from *********************** and have exhausted every protocol they recommended to remove this erroneous collection account from my credit report. My FICO score has TANKED because of this egregious error on the part of ********* and I. C. Systems, **** and I want it restored.I request that this collection account be removed from my credit report and my credit profile and FICO score be returned to normal. THIS IS NOT MY DEBT! An EGREGIOUS ERROR HAS BEEN MADE through carelessness and sloppy business practices. Anyone looking at my credit report can see I've NEVER resided in **************!

I am rejecting this response because: equifax credit bureau is still showing ic systems collection against me.
This is shoddy and egregiously inaccurate credit reporting. I demand this item be removed from my equifax report immediately.

The original creditor handles the credit reporting on the account. Questions related to it can be addressed directly to the ********************** at ************. Our records show on 9/4/2024 ** spoke with the consumer. The ** employee verified with the consumer IC is not a debt buyer. It was noted the consumer alleges fraud and is in the process of obtaining a police report. If the consumer believes that they are the victim of id theft they should visit ************************************. They will need to include a copy of the police report when completing the online fraud form.

I am writing to formally dispute the debt claimed by IC Systemes for the amount of $1,031. I am not liable for this debt, as there was no contract or agreement provided or signed by me to do so.To provide clarity, I have thoroughly reviewed my records and confirmed that no binding contract or agreement exists between myself and the creditor related to this claim. As such, I do not recognize the validity of this debt and am contesting its legitimacy.In accordance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), I request that IC System:-Provide verification of the debt, including a copy of the original contract or agreement that establishes my responsibility for this amount.-Cease all collection activities until the debt has been validated.-Remove any negative information related to this debt from my credit report.Business response
