Norsemen was hired to replace existing trim, paint trim, doors and windows white. I also hired to them to redo my interior steps. Demo had already been done. I was told initially they could start the week after I signed my contract. Instead, it was 4 months of excuses. Once they started the first painters did a terrible job. They filled nail holes and painted over them, no sanding. Missed areas of the trim and doors, had dripping, ect when it was sprayed. They go over-spray all over new kitchen cabinets, paint all over the new hard wood floors, flashing throughout the entire house. They also refused to paint parts of my windows. ******* stated they don't do that and if they would that would be a Class 5 paint and it would have been much more expensive. However, his contract stated I paid for Class 5 throughout my house. ******* had his staff painter come back to fix everything. He proceeded to roll everything, even though I paid for sprayed smooth look. One day the staff painter stopped coming and nobody has supposably heard from him since. Over a month with no work and my entire house being torn apart. ******* terminated my contract after getting estimated from other painters to fix everything. ******* took $24,000 and never finished anything. He offered no settlement and has not been heard from since. ******* was rarely at the job site even when asked to come look at things. He would say he trusts his people. He had no problem stopping over to get money. He even asked for an extra $2000.00 that he was not owed yet when his staff painter started to fix everything.
