            I applied to ********************** on May 31st and then paid a deposit off $250 on June 1st. I called on June 1st to confirm receipt. I called to inquire about the status on my application on June 5th (2 business days later) and heard nothing. I called again on June 7th to follow up and again heard nothing. I then called again on June 8th and they finally spoke to me and told me that I would not be able to move in until my first day of employment. After consideration, I decided to withdraw my application. Had they spoken to me when I had first called or communicated with me, I would have been able to withdraw my application sooner. I am complaining because due to lack of communication on their end, I am not able to receive my deposit back. I attempted to communicate within 72 hours and ensure I was following protocol. They have been entirely unprofessional and unwilling to communicate.

            Minus 5 stars. We bought a condo for our mother in Olympia, WA. Great company to deal with until the units are sold and they leave town. End product was decent but a lot of delays and many residents without hot water for months. Once everyone moved in, they increased rent. Then after the place was full, the new board realized that monthly rents were based on tax value of the vacant land. Once completed, our monthly dues went up almost $500 per month. Most people can't afford it and are leaving. Sales are non-existent as people can't pay the monthly expenses. Everything they tell you is a lie. Janet S lied about every single aspect of the company. They never disclosed an active lawsuit at another site. Austin, the building manager lied every time he gave a presentation and had no control of any contractors. Beware...DO NOT do business with these people. They lie, cheat, and steal. Then they leave town and never heard of again. Absolute worse decision I ever made. DONT DO IT--nothing but crooks. Do your homework and talk to some residents. They are considering lawsuits and our state Attorney General may be going after them for fraud as well. They should be ashamed of themselves. I am ashamed of myself for falling for their BS. DONT BE SUCKERED!

            It appears this person has the wrong business. Real Estate Equities manages rental apartments and does not operate condominiums and does not have any properties in *******, **. We also do not have record of this person in our property management system. The staff this person is referring to are not associated with Real Estate Equities.
