  Minnesota Dept. of Labor & Industry Consent Order
  

  On September 23, 2022, the business entered into a Consent Order with the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry (DLI). The Consent Order settles allegations that the business violated Minn. Stat. §§ 326B.082, subd. 11 (b)(1)(9); 326B.84 (4)(8)(15); 326B.86, subd. 2 (2020); and Minn. Rule 2891.0050, subp. 1C (2021).. Under terms of the Consent Order, the business agreed to revocation of the business's residential building contractors license and the qualifying builder's license for Erik Olson, the business's owner.  The business also agreed to cease and desist from acting as or claiming to be a residential building contractor, remodeler or residential roofer in Minnesota and to cooperate with their customers and DLI in the process to make claims to the Contractor Recovery Fund. In addition, the business and its owner are prohibited from ever applying for a residential building contractor, remodeler or residential roofer license in Minnesota and Mr. Olson is prohibited from holding a position of fiduciary authority for any other residential building contractor, remodeler or residential roofer in Minnesota. The business also agreed to a $50,000.00 penalty, which is stayed in full on the condition that the business fully complies with the terms of this order and engages in no future violations of  any law, rule or order under DLI authority.   The Consent Order was for settlement purposes only and should not be considered as an admission of guilt or finding of violation of the law.
