Date of estimate was 5/29. Date of work completion was 7/20. During the 2 days of work the work crew cut off a main sprinkler line head, water started coming out right away, and instead of capping it, as detailed they do in their contract, they just shut the outside water off and continued to do the work and, subsequently, pour the concrete over the now open, sprinkler line. When confronted about this later that same day Ross Clemens, the owner of SimStone, stated he doesn't know why his "Guys" didn't cap it right away and instead just "Threw the sprinkler head somewhere" and kept working. I asked how this was going to be fixed and Ross directed me to contact "My Irrigation Guy" and send him the bill. No amounts were ever discussed as the extent of the damage and potential cost was unknown. On 7/29 I utilized Trattes Irrigation to Fix the issue. Upon their recommendation I added additional sprinkler heads to my lawn to ensure coverage as now the sprinkler areas had changed. Trattles Irrigation stated the damage sustained was roughly $800 to fix as the main water line had to be fixed and rerouted and the pipe going to that sprinkler head that was cut off had to be found in the ground and capped. The addition of more sprinkler heads and the piping only ran about additional $300. So I paid Trattles Irrigation the amount over $800 and had Trattles Irrigation, upon SimStone's request, forward the remaining bill for $800 to them directly, that was stated in an email from SimStone's owner Ross Clemens on 8/13/2021. I have asked Ross to follow through with this agreement multiple times via email and Trattles Irrigation has still not received payment for over 2 months later. At this point I have been forced to pay the $800 to Trattles Irrigation myself as Tom Trattles completed his work over the 1st week of August and is still awaiting payment.
