    I emailed Sensata on 1/9/2024 about two encoders that failed within the warranty period. Sensata received and tested the encoders, which indicated that they were faulty. Sensata then claimed that the encoders failed due to customer abuse. This is not correct. They simply do not want to honor the warranty, which is a pattern based on other complaints seen here on the BBB.

    I purchased a Magnum MS4448PAE inverter on 10/11/2020. It came with a three year warranty. On 12/01/2022 I delivered the inverter to an authorized repair shop because the inverter displayed a spurious error message - "Dead Battery Charge Error". I have made repeated calls to get this device fixed. The company claims it's a parts shortage, yet they are still in business making devices that likley have 80% of the electric components common to this inverted. Furthermore, I recently checked with an online inverter seller; they are selling the identical inverter, which means Sensata could replace my device if they wanted to.I have now been waiting 13 months. Sensata should fix/replace this inverter or cease advertising a three year warranty.

    Sensata Technologies will not honor a warranty on a $1800 Magnum inverter that failed my customer 18 months after I installed it. The warranty period is 3 years. Over the past 13 plus months I have left numerous phone messages and emails to the warranty department, none have been answered. On 2 or 3 occasions I have talked to their tech people and was led to believe that there was a chip shortage so my inverter could not be repaired. I have been extremely patient but the last 2 months I have increased my effort to get this warranty issue resolved which includes sending in an RMA Application form 3 different times but still no action. The first time it was sent, a tech person responded by email that he had not received it after my inquiry why there was no action, that is why the additional submittals. Any help would be very much appreciated. I have been in business 42 years and never have experienced a problem like this before. I do not know how to attach copies of my emails but could forward them to a caseworker if given the proper email address.

    We bought 2 Magnum inverters from Sensata Technologies, in ************, **. Both were under *************** malfunctioned. We sent one back & it was fixed & returned. We sent the 2nd to them. On June 22nd it was delivered to the company. We have never gotten the 2nd inverter back. I have documented phone calls & emails to the company with no return calls or emails. We need our inverter back. The inverters model # MS4024PAE serial #*********.

    We had solar installed on our home in September of 2018 which connected to 18-MAGNUM GT-500 Micro Inverters. The inverters have a 25 year warranty. Now we have some inverters that are not working. I have contacted the electrician who installed this and he claims to have contacted Sensata and they told him they no longer make that inverter. On five separate occasions we have called Sensata and spoke with ***** in tech support. He claims to have sent emails requesting someone contact me. The last time I spoke with ***** he provided me two email address to contact them myself. On June 26, 2022 I sent an email to ****************************** ******************************* and ***************************************** unfortunately no one has responded to me. I'm losing money every day since the inverters are not working and I need to know how they are going to resolve this issue.
